Road to recovery...day 33

Road to recovery...day 33. Many of you continue to ask about my progress; your concern, cards, calls, and prayers have continued to lift me...prayers offered in faith will heal the sick. I had a follow up with my surgeon today, he kept shaking his head and saying, "wow". He said my healing was "remarkable". All I could think of was the goodness of God's hand and your faithful prayers-I am so grateful. He went on to say that my injury was very serious, which I knew. But what I didn't know was that I was one of the most serious facial fracture cases they had operated on. The lead surgeon had told me during my previous follow up that they discovered my injures were much worse once they were "inside my face". He showed x-rays of my fractures, broken orbital bone, displaced jaw, and crushed sinus area and where they had made the internal and external incisions, pushed bones back together, and put the titanium plates. My face was broken and beat up, but God's hands put it all back together again through the hands of the surgeons. This trial has pushed me to release the physical broken parts of me into God's hands and trust Him with the course of treatment and provisions to put me back together again. And you know what...He's done a "remarkable" job. I say this with a humble and grateful heart. Trials will push us to the end of ourselves... but we are never at an end that His hands are not at work! Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. ❤️LMM
