Release your mind...

Release your mind from the constant circling of potential outcomes and scenarios..fear is disguising itself as concern. Your efforts can't fix this problem...but God can (1 Peter 5:7). 11/30/12CIFL-LMM

Take steps..God will give you direction

When God prompts your spirit to move-that's what you need to do. Don't forfeit your next mission because you're uncertain of which direction to go. God usually doesn't give us our itinerary prior to departure...just begin to move. Your steps activate the next directive from the Holy Spirit. A man's steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand his own way (Pr 20:24)? God delights in us when we trust Him and try to do His will. We may fall down and may not always hear Him clearly, but He always upholds us with His hand (Ps 37:24). Trust God-your steps are directed...but you must walk them out to get there. Blessings friend! 11/3/12-LMM

Unresolved hurt distorts perception...

Unresolved hurt from the past distorts perception... keeping the view of the present obscured. Ask Jesus to search your heart and show you the unresolved hurt (Ps 139:23-24). Jesus came to save, bind up wounds, free you from captivity and bring you out of darkness...to heal you (Isa 61:1). Let Him heal you today! 11/30/12-LMM

The end of yourself...is a new beginning

The end of yourself...is a new beginning. Is there anything you're holding onto that you are unwilling to release for fear it will not return? Is there a relationship that you feel responsible for...the person needs you to make it? Do you want to believe what the bible says about having a good future, tithing, forgiveness, love, casting your cares, and anxious thoughts? Do you feel you are so deep and over your head in a situation that it's too late? Do you find that you do not look forward to anything most days? You are probably exhausted, worn out, and about ready to quit. Friend, you are at the end of yourself and it is a good place to be. I know it does not feel good, but your end is actually a beginning...with Jesus. Give your life over to Him and He will put His life in you; restoring all your hurt, anger, hopelessness, fear, shame, and uncertainties. I had to get to the end of myself. I tried until I almost died-I did my best to take care of everything; but my best was not enough...and neither is yours. I loved Jesus, but I did not know how to receive His love for me...until I had exhausted all my resources, was worn hurt, and had no where to go for help. It wasn't that I denied His help...I just didn't know how to ask for it or receive it. I was taught to be responsible, to take care of things, to be reliable; these are all good things-but Jesus must guide and supply us with His love to manage these responsibilities. I could no longer carry my cares, so I cast them on Jesus...and He took them and He will take yours (1 Peter 5:7). He is the Way, the Truth, and  the Life (John 14:6)! He is your answer to what you've been facing or need to face. Blessings to you as you trust Him. 10/29/12CIFL-LMM

Road trip with Jesus...

Are you willing to take a road trip with Jesus? How many times has Jesus pulled up to your door and said, "come and spend time with me."But you didn't go, because you felt you had to take care of some things...first. What "firsts" are you putting before your road trip with Jesus? In Luke 10:39-42, Jesus described Martha as overly occupied, too busy, and distracted with much serving. He described Mary as choosing the good portion, that which she can take advantage of and it will not be taken from her. I have to keep myself in check; I have a tendency to lean towards the "Martha Mentality" and want my work to be completed before I sit down. Work is ongoing...and it has no meaning unless Jesus is first. Make Jesus first...and take your road trips with Him...He will take you on road trips you can't even imagine! 11/28/12-LMM

You will overcome...

You will overcome what is trying to overcome you...when you receive the love of Jesus. "And who can win the battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God (1 John 5:5)." Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33)...that includes anything that is trying to overcome you. "Everything is possible for him who believes (Mark 9:23)." Meditate on these verses and ask the Holy Spirit for revelation. God reveals the secret things of the kingdom to anyone who seeks Him (Mark 4:11). You don't have to go through life wondering if...or maybe...but can expect with confidence that Jesus is with you and will get you through whatever is trying to overcome you. Amen! 7/4/12-LMM

Jesus sees past your past...

Jesus sees past your past...He sees what you can do...not what you've done-Amen! 7/8/12-LMM

Unresolved Pain...chains you to the past

Minimizing and ignoring unresolved hurt keeps a person chained to the experience; unable to live in the present because life is lived...through their past. Until a person addresses their hurt, they are chained to their past. An unresolved hurt is as alive as the day it happened, but because it has many layers of life on it, it is not always identifiable...which leads people to believe they got over it. The unresolved hurt from the past distorts their perception...keeping the view of the present obscured. Ask Jesus to search your heart and show you what you have not dealt with. Jesus came to save, bind up our wounds, free us from captivity and to bring us out of  darkness-to heal us (Isaiah 61:1). Let Him heal you. Only Jesus can put back in us what was taken by another or give to us what another did not give. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Cor 3:17). Will you receive His love into your heart today and be completely healed? 11/1/12-LMM

Believing is a decision...not a feeling

To experience the peace that transcends all human understanding (Phil 4:7), to have a full life Jesus promises (John 10:10), and to know the truth that will set you free (John 8:32), requires belief in God's Word. Believing is not a feeling we feel...believing is a decision we make. Believing is based on Who God is...not if we understand everything about Him. Many have a hard time with this truth and lose direction in life...slowly fading into disbelief. Their belief is based on what they can understand. When they encounter situations they don't understand, they "feel" God has abandoned them; then their fear sets in manifesting into anger. When they experience an answered prayer, they "feel" God cares; they feel safe and secure. God says He loves us and He will never leave us...if we believe Who God says He is, then during trials, we are secure in His love even though we don't understand everything. But if our belief in God is based on what we can understand Him doing or not doing...then we love Him conditionally-our love is determined by our understanding of what He is doing in particular situation. When we go through trials, we have an opportunity to mature our faith and develop perseverance-so that we lack nothing. God says to ask for wisdom during trials and He will give it without finding fault, but when we ask, we must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave in the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not believe he will receive anything from the Lord; he is double minded man, unstable in all he does (James 1:2-8). God welcomes our questions that challenge us...but not rhetorical ones that challenge Him. You're crossing a line when you question His authority...it's blatant disrespect and you're testing Him (Matt 4:7). Ask Him to help you to not doubt (Mark 9:24). When I committed my life to Christ, I made the decision to believe, but I didn't completely trust Him. I was honest and told God I wanted to believe Him but I was scared to trust Him. Then God sent His help...grace and mercy to do a work in me so I could receive what I professed to believe in my heart (Eph 2:8-9). My Father God met me where I was. I was doubting, but asked for help...and He made a way for me. He will for you too friend, if you ask (Matt 7:7) Our Father loves us...He meets us where we are, but we must decide to believe all of His promises; counting on Him each day to provide for us-this is how we strengthen our faith daily. He's for you and not against you (Rom 8:31). Blessings friend! 5/12CIFL-LMM

God makes something from nothing...

Guilt, regret & shame aren't in God's plans for you...

Guilt, regret and shame have no place in the good plans God has for you. You can't erase the past, it happened...but it does not define who you are. You are defined by the love of Christ because you are complete in Him-you are His masterpiece...created to do the good works He planned long ago! (Jer 29:11, Col 2:10, Eph 2:10) 10/27/12-LMM

Release forgiveness...remove chains that bind you!

When you forgive those who hurt you-you allow Jesus to remove the chains that bind you to past hurt. Where the Spirit of the Lord is...there is freedom!

God's Word trumps...all things!

God's Word trumps...all things. Don't fret or be anxious about anything. Doesn't matter how lost it is, useless it looks, number of times it happened, far away it is, how impossible to comprehend, or dead, broken, angry, bitter, jealous, envious or hopeless it is...God's Word trumps all things. He existed before all things and in Him all things consist, cohere, and are held together. He knows your name, every single thought you've ever had, are having or will have. He's the Alpha and the Omega. God speaks and nothing becomes something... taking shape and form. Holy Sees, Holy Knows and Holy Does. Will you trust Him to walk you where you can't see to go? You know in your heart you're not where you're suppose to be...but you don't know how to get to where He wants you to be-God will show you...but you must begin to take steps into the unknown. You won't know God will lead you through the unknown..until you trust Him to take you through. His Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. God's Word trumps...all things! (Col 1:17, Jn 1:3, 2 Cor 5:7, Ps 119:105) 5/12CIFL-LMM

Forgiving...sets you free

Forgiveness activates healing and sets you free...To heal, we have to bring our hurts to Jesus-completely surrendering our entire heart, mind, and soul. Forgiving allows Jesus to remove the chains that have kept you bound to the people who hurt you and the hurt they imposed on you. Forgiving is not dismissing the harm...but forgiving means you will no longer carry the offense in your heart-you release it to the hands of Jesus (Rev 3:20). When you release forgiveness to those who offended you...you allow Jesus to release you from the chains that bound you... and you are set free! Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Cor 3:17). 11/27/12CIFL-LMM

Adversity...going through & knowing Jesus

Adversity in life...going through it takes you to an uncertain, uncomfortable &  unfamiliar place; where your pride is purged, false confidence eradicated & beliefs challenged-a time of holy revelation of Jesus' love. His love is for you & His Spirit lives  in you- unwavering, unmovable & unstoppable; you know deep in your spirit you belong to Him. It's a beautiful, risky & confident place to be...trusting He will walk you through places where you can't see, give you the strength to press on when you have none & give hope & life to a situation that's considered dead. Knowing He will provide all you need, not to just get by, but more than you could dare ever ask for. Jesus, He loves you...will you let Him show you? We have limits...God has none

Every time we find ourselves pushed up against a wall and feel we've reached our limits...we are correct, we have. Our end allows God's beginning-He shows His mighty hand and takes us to the next level of perseverance; pouring His limitless Self through us. We have limits but our God has none...He's before all things and holds all things together (Col 1:17). When we abide in Him-stay connected to Him, we bear much fruit and are more than conquerors (John 15:4, Rom 8:37). He flows His strength through us. This is the authentic confidence of Christ in us-His confidence. We have the mind of  Christ (1 Cor 2:26). Let Him flow through you to do the things He designed you to do. Take the focus off of what you can or can't do and put your focus on our Almighty God! Stomp, jump, and turn around-Amen! 11/25/12CIFL-LMM

Life Storms Hit Hard...

Life storms hit hard...look inward and hold onto Jesus...He's your anchor and He's with you...always. You will get through it and make it to the other side (Mark 4:34-41). 11/24/12-LMM

Teach your children...to call on the name of Jesus!

You're not alone in parenting...you've got God; He's got everything covered. You can't control how life happens to your children...but you can prepare them for life. Teach them how to call on the name of Jesus...how to pray and spend time with Him. Walk out what you believe-explain Jesus has overcome and conquered anything they will ever face (Jn 16:33). Let them know you've been given the privilege to parent them, but they belong to God and that makes you feel safe...because He's the greatest Superhero of all time! Be honest when they ask questions, things happen we can't control, but we're never alone-God never lets go of our hand. God doesn't promise we will not face danger, but He does promise...He will be with us when we face danger (Dan 3:27, Isa 43:1-2). God commands His angels to watch over children (Ps 91:11-12) and He's before all things-He holds everything together (Col 1:17). You're not alone in parenting...you've got God-He's got everything covered! Blessings friend. 11/20/12CIFL-LMM #christianinsightforlife #faith #parenting

Nothing is too big for God!

Nothing, nothing, nothing...is too big for our God! One touch of His hand...and your world can change in a nanosecond. You have to trust Him friend...if you want to watch Him transform your nothing into something. Trusting Him is required to walk where it looks like you can't...and to believe when it looks like their is nothing to believe in and to keep on moving forward when you don't think you can. He will supply all your needs while you are believing Him and following Him. Remember, through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. Let Him make something...from your nothing. He's for you...there's nothing, nothing, nothing...that can be against you, if He is for you. (Phil 4:19, John 1:3, Rom 8:31)11/24/12CIFL-LMM

The Perfect Plan...

Many Christians allow situations in their life to interfere with the perfect plan God has for them. In all things God works for the good of those who love Him (Rom 8:28). He uses our mistakes and misfortunes... recycling each one of them into His perfect plan. Situations can consume, overwhelm, and paralyze us at times...but they do not have to determine our destiny. God wants us to know the ending...that He wrote for us. Our trust is the key to knowing what He wrote for us...each person has an individual perfect plan for their life written by God Himself. I've listened to thousands of clients over the years as a Christian Counselor and I continually hear hundreds of reasons from them telling me why they are exempt from God's perfect plan. Here are some of them...lost virginity at 13 years old, learning disability, married four times, job too stressful, three abortions, cost too much, chronic illness, divorced again, no education, depression, interest rates too high, parents abusive, no talents, anxiety disorder, below average, don't have much, DUI's, they're too good for me, job market is not hiring, numerous affairs, aspergers, too afraid, overweight, nothing to say, drug use, just average, jail and prison time, and the list goes on. There's not a situation that exist on this earth that is too big for our God...one touch of His hand...and your world can change in a nanosecond. Your trust is required to walk where it looks like you can't and to believe when it looks like their is nothing to believe in. Remember, through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made (John 1:3). Will you give your situation to Him and let Him make something...from nothing? He's for you...there's no nada, none, nothing bigger than our God...no situation that can be against us, if He is for us (Rom 8:31). Make a decision today that you will no longer allow your situation to rob you of the good plans God has for you (Jer 29:11). Now, move forward and make a difference by letting God turn your situation around for His glory. Blessings! 11/24/12-LMM

A perfect plan...

God has a perfect plan for your life...the only way you are eliminated is...if you remove yourself from walking it out (Jer 29:11-14). 11/24/12-LMM

Jesus has the answer...

The second your eyes open in the morning, your list is waiting for you...family needs, relationship concerns, bills, cleaning, doctor appointments, clients, travel, home and car repairs...recall of hurtful words from the day before. STOP...do not have one more thought until you sit with Jesus. Soak up His love...fill up with Him. Your mind reasons you can't because the mornings are so hectic. I know they are, but you start your day on empty if you try to begin it without filling up with Jesus first. Your world can wait...while you fill up with the One...who created your world. Let Him remind you that He's in control of...everything and aware of the most intimate concerns in your heart. Don't try to take on these concerns in your strength, you can't...but He can-let Him. Jesus is before all things and holds all things together in His hands (Col 1:17). Allow Him to pour His warm love in you and over you for you to have complete confidence in His ability as you tackle every issue today with His strength in you. Now, you're filled up for the day and can proceed in peace. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom ( 2 Cor 3:17). 12/11CIFL-LMM

Good Plans...

Good plans. "For I know the...thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord...thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome (Jer 29:11)." The amplified bible has the word thoughts. This verse is well known by those who know the Word and those who don't. I was in the don't category 18 years ago. I was raised in a family and a church that didn't study the bible but...then I got a hold of a NIV study bible when I was 33 years old and the Word got a hold of me! I couldn't put it down...God's Word went through me like electricity! Jeremiah 29:11 was the first verse I wrote down and memorized. Look at this verse carefully through the eyes of the Holy Spirit. "For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome." This resonated in me-giving me such comfort and confidence. God will not only take care of the plans for me, give me peace, protect me from evil, and give me hope, but He will...manage my thoughts for me. If I begin to doubt His plans, He will help my thoughts so I can carry out what He planned for me! I pray someone else is seeing what I see with my spirit and my mind. God makes a way for us, we must choose to believe Him at His Word and we will have the confidence in our thoughts to follow Him knowing that His plans for us are good and we will enjoy them! Amen! 3/12CIFL-LMM

Hearing the Voice of Truth...

Hearing the Voice of Truth...Most of us are willing to follow Jesus and look crazy for Christ but we don't trust that we have heard His voice. We reason that we made up what we thought we heard in our spirit. Stop reasoning...God will not let you go the wrong way if you are seeking His direction daily. Reasoning will keep you from hearing the Voice of Truth and you will begin to backtrack your former conversations with God and doubt what you heard Him tell you in the past. Recently in prayer one morning I did this very thing. I almost ran off the road with reasoning then the Holy Spirit said to me "I know you're sincere-I will never leave you. You must trust that I will lead you." I stopped my reasoning immediately-understanding the mind monologue I had engaged in which caused me to doubt what I had heard the Holy Spirit speak to my spirit. God loves me He will stop me before I go in the wrong direction. Even if I miss His redirection, He will cover me until I get it. The key to hearing the Voice of Truth is to stop reasoning. Reasoning distracts and engages your mind in a monologue and your unaware of the Voice of Truth speaking to you. Be purposed in hearing the Holy Spirit...and have confidence knowing He will lead you-if you miss Him, He will reach out to you until you're turned in the right direction. You can move ahead with boldness and look crazy for Christ with confidence! (James 4:8, Isa 30:21) 5/12-LMM

Reaching out will lead others to Christ...

My heart is burdened for broken people today. I'm excited about Christmas, but many aren't...hurt floods their hearts. One of my friends was able to lead a teenager to Christ today. He was looking for work..."just wanted to make a few bucks." Well, he made a few bucks and then gave His life to Jesus! His despair turned into a glorious day...because my friend  took the time to help him. She saw the look of rejection in his eyes I want to make sure I remember the reason we celebrate this season...Jesus, who came to save us. Our Redeemer lives (Job19:25)!  11/23/12-LMM

Shine your light...

Get your light on...despite the darkness that attempts to overtake you. A tiny speck of light is seen in massive darkness, yet a tiny speck of darkness is not seen in massive light. Light always trumps darkness...don't believe the lie that your light is not seen, it is. Come on, let's bring our lights together...shining hope and love into every dark area in this world! Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 115: 105). Are you ready??? Let's bring our lights together...(Mt 5:16)!!!
*God put Mt 5:16 on my heart years ago, I had no idea that it would become the scripture verse for Christian Insight for Life...shining God's truth across the world. Our lights coming together...make a difference-Amen! 2/12CIFL-LMM

Let people see your love...

God is Love...His love is in you. Put wheels on your love and drive it...so people can see it!!!

Delight in the Lord...

The world counts on luck, personal effort & finger crossing to fulfill the desires of their heart...then anxiously await the outcome. As a Christian we have the privilege to count on the Father, Son & Holy Spirit to fulfill the desires of our heart & confidently wait. Enjoy time with God, sit with Him each day, soak up His truth, let Him pour His love in & through you, to fulfill His plans through you, to satisfy you in every way. Delight in the Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). 3/14/12CIFL-LMM

When you're treated harsh & unfair...

When someone says harsh words to you or treats you in an unfair way-it's not because something is wrong with you; it's because...something is wrong with them. They have a mean spirit-don't let what's going on with them...determine who you are. Release them and the offense to Jesus (Lk 6:27). Remember you are valued by God...nothing can take His love from you-ever (Rom 8:37-39)! 11/23/12CIFL-LMM

Renew your mind...

Renewing your mind is...not replacing negative thoughts with positive thoughts...it's replacing the lies you believe with the Truth of God's Word. What do you really believe? What the world says...or what God says? Don't conform to the world...be transformed by His love and His peace which exceeds anything you can understand.
(Rom 12:2, Phil 4:7) 11/23/12CIFL-LMM

God's Truth...you are loved & valued

If someone treats you with a harsh and unfair spirit, it's not because something is wrong with you...it's because...something is wrong with them. Release them and the offense to Jesus (Luke 6:27) and remember you're valued by God...nothing can take His love from you (Rom 8:37-39)! 11/23/12-LMM

Fierce faith...fighting back!

Fierce faith-my fighting back prayer. I have a fierce faith rising up in me fueled by the Holy Spirit to look adversity straight in the eyes and command it to get out of my way...I have work to do in the Kingdom and so do you! Adversity will push you up against a wall and scream discouragement. But God has spoken so clearly to my heart-no verdict given by man is final... only God's Word is final! I must believe what I don't see...yet. My endurance to move forward must be fueled by my God Who supplies all my needs. We have to fight daily-some days we're worn out but...our Father strengthens us when we're weary and increases our power when we're weak. We've got to pull our fierce faith together-you've got what I need and I've got what you need. Get your armor on-let's roll it... we're made for hard!(Jm4:7, 2 Cor 5:7, Phil4:19, Isa 40:29, Rom 12:5, Eph 6:10) 5/31/12CIFL-LMM

God's Love is Like a Freight Train...

Love like a freight train...While spending time with God this morning, He put on my heart that He loves like a freight train. No matter what impossible I'm seeing or experiencing...His freight train love flows in me and through me to sustain me. I know with His confidence in me...I will endure, push through and overcome because He dwells in me. God is love and His love is power! As Christians, we need to remind ourselves of this truth daily then when an impossible plagues us, we have a reserve of His truth ready to overcome what is trying to overcome us. We have His love, His strength, His confidence, and His endurance-we can because He is...the I Am and the I Am lives in us! Every impossible is an opportunity for us for us to believe God will keep His Word. Let His love flow through you like a freight train...rolling over any impossible that is in your path. 2/11-LMM
The Holy Spirit is our Steering Wheel. The navigation system in a vehicle will map out the route to our desired destination but we must use our steering wheel to make the required turns to arrive at our destination. As Christians, our bible gives us instructions in experiencing God's Promises, but we must allow the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us in the revelation of these promises. 1/17/12-LMM

Don't let satan hijack your imagination...

Don't let satan hijack your imagination...because it is the runway God gives you to launch your dreams. Satan wants to obstruct your runway with lies...telling you that your dreams are ridiculous. Don't engage with the enemy. Stand firm and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and the dreams God put in your heart. You are equipped to launch because God designed you to fulfill the dreams He put in your heart. Write down the things Jesus whispers to your heart...they will sound crazy, don't worry-if they were not crazy then you could accomplish them and you wouldn't need Jesus. And don't be afraid of messing up...God looks at our heart-if you are sincerely trying to follow Him...He will put you back on the right path if you missed Him. God instructs us to "write what you see-write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run." This keeps the dream alive in your heart while you continue with daily responsibilities. Keep on moving forward friend...you're one step closer to the dream God put in your heart. Dare to believe...

Dare to believe...God gives each of us an imagination to see what He sees-to give us hope for our future. Within seconds our imagination can elicit all five senses and recall an event from yesterday to going back 30 years and remembering a specific event.  Your imagination is designed to see the promises of God. See yourself as an overcomer, loved and valued. See relationships being restored, burdens lifted, new career, a ministry, family members being saved. Use the power of your imagination the way God intended-for His glory and honor...believing His promises. Do not allow satan to use your imagination for harm, to create despair, or to be overwhelmed with potential bleak outcomes. You must immediately come against the strongholds he tries to set up in your mind...he is a liar! Ask Jesus for help...He's knocking on the door of your heart-let Him in to help you with doubt, fears & old hurts that continue to haunt you and whisper lies of despair to your mind. See what God sees for your life...He has good plans! Dare to believe!!! (Rom 12:2, Rev 3:20, Jer 29:11)) 1/5/12CIFL-LMM

Until you find an intimate relationship with God...real, vulnerable, authentic, connected, unconditional...you will never find what you think you need or want. God knitted you together with His hands...He knows everything you need, desire, want, hope for and want to become. He wants to give you... everything you need, desire, want, hope for and want to become. Know Him and you will be known by Him and you will have your heart's desires.
(Phil 3:10). 11/21/12-LMM
Believing is the prerequisite for walking out the dreams...the desires God has put in your heart. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4).11/21/12-LMM

Reasoning...the road block

Most delays & detours on the journey to our destination are because of our own self-imposed road blocks. We know we heard God in our spirit give us direction in an area of our life, but we reason how impossible it  would be to carry out by saying things like..."what if I don't have enough, it's not possible, no way can that happen, I might miss God, people will think I'm crazy" & so on. God doesn't expect us to figure out what He's asked us to do-He wants us to rely on Him for the provisions needed...then while we're moving forward in faith He provides what we need & gives us the next step. Then we start the process over again & again & again-walking by faith not by sight. So move forward in His confidence, get comfortable in trusting & believing He will provide all you need during the journey while on the way to your destination. (Pr 3:5-6, 2 Cor 5:7) 12/2012CIFL-LMM

Your 2013 Plan...

2013 Plan...before you spend a lot of time on it, get with God...He developed your plan when He spoke the earth into existence. No two people have the same fingerprint, DNA, or individual plan because God designed each each one to be unique. No one can take your unique plan or place from you...but you must choose to step into it and trust that God will lead you. Don't be afraid you will miss Him, if you do, He will redirect you. He doesn't want perfection...He wants a heart that loves Him and trusts Him. He will work in your mistakes too...don't panic. Now, stop looking down at your feet and put your jersey on...God wants to put you in the game. Will you go in? Stop coming up with a million reasons why you can't...none of us can unless we trust Him...I hope so, because we want you on the team-we want you to experience the win with us. Blessings friend! 1/11-LMM

Believing God...

Believing God is not a culmination of your feelings about Him that change from one day to the next...but believing God is based on Who He is. He loves everything about you, will never leave you and keeps His promises. Purpose to know Him more each day, renew your mind with His Word every hour, anticipate His provisions, don't criticize yourself-He never does. See His beauty all around you, replace your complaints with thanksgiving, receive and maximize the gifts He put in you. Receive His love...then you will known by Him-knowing your authentic value. Believing God is knowing what you see is not the final chapter...that He is your Comforter, Provider, Way Maker, Mountain Mover, King of Kings, Lord of Lords...El Shadai. When doubt side swipes you and anxiety presses your chest so hard you can barely breathe...believing God brings you relief, hope, peace and confident expectation in His Presence to comfort you. Believing God is a safe, comfortable, exciting, confident and peaceful place to be...who do you believe? (Phil 3:10, 1 Thes 5:18,  Heb 6:19) 11/21/12CIFL-LMM

Parenting...you're not alone...

You're not alone in parenting...you've got God-He's got everything covered. You can't control how life happens to your children...but you can control how you prepare your children...so when life does happen to them...they're prepared. Teach them how to call on the name of Jesus...how to pray and spend time with Him. Walk out what you believe. Explain Jesus has overcome and conquered anything they will ever face (John 16:33). Let them know you've been given the privilege to parent them, but they belong to God and that makes you feel safe...because He's the greatest Superhero of all time! Be honest when they ask questions, things happen we can't control, but we're never alone-He never lets go of our hand. God does not promise that we will not face danger, but He does promise...that He will help us whenever we do face danger (Daniel 3:27, Isaiah 43:1-2). God commands His angels to watch over your children (Ps 91:11-12) and He is before all things and holds everything together (Col 1:17). You're not alone in parenting... you've got a God-He's got everything covered! Blessings friend. 11/20/12-LMM

Don't Compare Your Uniqueness...

Be inspired by...but don't compare to. God equips each of us with our own set of talents and gifts; we're to do our best and maximize what He gives us. Each person is given a different amount of talents, some get more-others get less; the number doesn't indicate our value or level of success by God. Our response to what's been given is the value and success indicator. God measures each person based on their individual plan-not how they compare individually to the group. Don't undermine your success by comparing your talents to that of others. We're given talents that match the plan God has for our life-your best is evaluated by how you use what you have...not how another uses what they have. Be inspired by others...what they've overcome, how they manage a business, lead and parent their family, style in clothing, career path and so on. But don't compare yourself to others...you place yourself in a superior or inferior position and both skew your authenticity. Each person is to compare their ability against their own ability-then they can take pride in what they've accomplished. God holds you responsible for what He calls you to...not what He's called another person to do. Comparing puts you in a contest that you're guaranteed to lose; resulting in feelings of inferiority, superiority that lead to jealousy and resentment. It's not what you have...it's how you use what you have. If you try to be somebody else-you're guaranteed frustration and bitterness. Be free-be you...where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! (Gal 6:3-5, Lk 19:12-28, Cor 3:17) 11/20/12CIFL-LMM

Hurt distorts perception...

Unresolved hurt distorts perception... keeping the view of the present obscured. Hurt does not go away with time...it only goes deeper. Hurt keeps on hurting from one generation to the next until it is stopped. Hurt is as alive as the day it happened, but because it has many layers of life on it, it's not always identified...which leads people to believe they got over it. Ask Jesus to search your heart and show you what you have not dealt with. He will heal your heart, soul, and mind-bring you out of captivity. Don't give hurt one more day of your life...blessings friend. (Ps139:23-24, Isa 61:1-3)11/19/12CIFL-LMM #hurt #soul #mind #heal #life #christianinsightforlife

Love has no fear...

There's no fear in love (1John 4:18). Whatever you're up against, Jesus has overcome it (John 16:33). Doubt will engage you in reasoning potential outcomes; don't do it...you will slide into a deep pit! You're not to figure out the how, you're to...just believe (Luke 8:50). Stand on God's Word, move forward and just believe...there's no fear in love! 11/19/12-LMM

Believe the impossibles. Jesus never asked us to do the impossible...He asked us to believe the impossible. Many get bogged down in defeated thinking and view life through their ability...if you do this, you will be overwhelmed, exhausted, and certainly will not walk in victory. You do not have the ability to overcome...but the One Who lives in you does...and He has overcome
(John16:33).11/18/12-LMM

Career Path/Purpose/Plan/

Listen closely...our availability activates God's ability through us. Many stumble at this point because they want a how and when list. Friend, God's not going to give you the specific list, but He will supply everything you need with each step of faith you take to carry out what He wants you to do...empowering you to do what's He's called you to do. When you obey and trust-just begin to move...the Almighty God, El Shaddai, Jehovah Jireh will flow through you! You must get over what you can't do because really...you can't do much anyway-you just like to think you can.  I'll share my personal experience from last year. God instructed me to get on facebook and post the things He spoke to my heart. There was no doubt this was from God. I did not have a facebook nor did I want one; I was too busy with my practice. God was very clear in His instructions to me. I obeyed, but was sick to my stomach the whole time...IBS would be an understatement! The last writings I'd done was 20 years earlier in grad school for a thesis. Honestly, I did not want my predictable life to be messed with...it was sooo safe to me. I was in my zone...I felt confident and comfortable. I'd been a counselor 28 years and I knew my routine...I'd made my life...sooo predictable, then God altered my career path...suddenly. All the things God had whispered to my heart over the years during sessions with clients was now flooding from within me and I had to write it. I did not choose this...I was compelled to do this. One day I was complaining to God about only getting a few "likes" on a post. I'm telling you I heard clearly in my spirit, "I didn't put you on there to prove you...I put you on there to use you." Well, I have not looked back. I continue to put one foot in front of the other-to please Him; using what He equips me to do. I have no idea what God plans but I do know I'm doing what He's called me to do. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (1Co3:17). I hope sharing some of my fears and experiences with you will give you some encouragement to execute what God's called you to do. Nobody has it all together, all of us struggle, we fall down and we get back up. God is always with us and forever flowing His love through us to accomplish His plans for His glory through us in the kingdom! Blessings friend.

Authentic Self...that's you

Authentic Self...We so easily toss aside our authentic self to not oppose the majority...for fear of being different and causing division. God created differences in us to challenge one another and to fulfill different functions in the body of Christ. You are to be the you God designed you to be...if you try to be someone else you will be miserable...your contentment is only found in being the you God designed for you to be! He made each one of us with His very own hands-giving each of us a unique fingerprint. Each of us are to carry out a specific plan-we are purposed by God Himself! Embrace your plan...don't forgo your future for fear of releasing your familiar. Be the you God designed you to be.  Blessings my friend! 11/17/12CIFL-LMM

Believing/Faith

Identity

A person's identity is not revealed when things are going good. It's easy to be positive when there's no resistance...to get along with everyone when no one is around and...to be giving when there's plenty to give from. True identity needs opposition to be revealed. Add resistance, people, and not enough...and you will see the true identity in others. 11/15/12CIFL-LMM

Your heart & words determine your course in life!

Don't like the direction of your life...examine your heart...it determines your course in life-everything you do flows from it. Your heart houses your beliefs, attitudes and motivations-what you say flows from what's in your heart. Ask Jesus to help you examine if there's anything offensive in your heart-which is anything that doesn't doesn't line up with His Word. Change your heart and your words and...change your life! (Lk 6:45, Prov 4:23, Ps 139:23-24)   7/12CIFL-LMM

A repentant heart...is never doubted

A repentant heart that's walked out...is never doubted. Many quickly apologize for their offense...but no behavior change follows. Genuine repentance is manifested in behavior changes. In counseling others, this is at the top of the list of problems in relationships. People will say, "they apologized, but they keep doing the same thing over and over. How will I know when they're really sorry?" I explain, a repentant heart is followed by behavior changes. Luke 3:8, "Produce fruit in keeping with repentance." A repentant heart that's walked out...is never doubted. 11/15/12-LMM

God's Equipped...us

Believing God...Get the revelation knowledge...not one of us can do anything on our own...unless God equips us to do it (Phil 4:13). We're all called...and God equipped us when He called us...but we must follow His Ways...not ours. Our purpose is to know Him (Phil 3:10). We must know God to know our purpose...knowing Him is not facts about Him, but intimately seeking His face, praising Him, finding our security in Him, believing Him...when our life is falling apart around us-knowing He's for us and not against us (Rom 8:31). Believing God is not a culmination of our feelings about Him-changing from one day to the next...but believing God is based on Who He is. Receiving His love daily is essential for us to carry out what He calls us to do; God's love is our fuel to sustain and move us forward. Will you let God manifest His plan through you...today? 11/15/12-LMM

Limiting God...opens a door for doubt

Limiting God with your limits...opens a door for doubt to distort what God can do. Questioning and doubting what God can do in your specific situation, limits His ability to help...you.  You believe He will do for another, but not you. Ask the Holy Spirit for revelation; you're believing a lie-you're not exempt from God's possibles. Doubting also places a heaviness of hopelessness deep in your spirit further distorting your spiritual vision. Renew your mind with God's promises (Rom 12:2) and read scripture to be encouraged. Look at Luke 1:27-38, a virgin willing to be ridiculed by society, possibly stoned to death, much less what, Joseph, her fiancee would think of her and a million other "what ifs." She didn't know how things would unfold, being pregnant but never having been with a man...who's going to believe her??? But she didn't look at her impossible situation, instead trusted God saying, "let it be done to me according to what you have said." Move forward in this season of your life...knowing what you face is impossible for you...but with God nothing is ever impossible (Luke 1:38). Continue to thank God for making a way-you are bringing the glory of Heaven before you when you thank Him for what He has not brought to fruition. Think about the times when your child or someone has thanked you for what you had not yet done for them. I know as a parent and grandparent, I can hardly wait to bless my kids when they have confidence in me delivering what I promised them. Same holds true for God; when we thank Him in the middle of our trials, knowing with confidence He will provide for us, we are showing Him we believe. It's a Romans 4:17 promise-calling those things that be not, as though they are. Continue to thank God for turning your impossible into His possible. Don't allow doubt to distort what God can do friend. Blessings to you! 8/4/12CIFL-LMM

Transform & Renew Your Mind...

Conform is to comply with the socially acceptable conventions...pressure to behave to standards.  Transform is to make a thorough or dramatic change in form, appearance and character.  Do not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind...(Rom12:2). Renewing your mind is...not merely replacing negative thoughts with positive thoughts...it's replacing the lies of conformity with the transformation of God's Word. Check yourself...does your talk and walk line up with God's truths? If you profess the Word, but walk with the world-you are split in your beliefs and you will surely be ripped apart. What do you really believe..what the world says or what God says? Transform friend...God is waiting because He's madly in love with you. Blessings! 6/20/12-LMM

Come out from behind your busy schedule...

Wake up sleeper, lift your head, come out from behind your busy schedule. Many profess to love Jesus...but few follow Him. Do you really love Him like you say you do...and are you allowing Him to manifest Himself through you to make an impact or are you playing it safe and predictable...loving Him but not totally living for Him? Think about these questions...how do you know God will do the impossible unless you stand back and trust Him to do the impossible? How do you know God uses the foolish and weak things to confound the wise unless you're willing to look foolish and weak? How do you know the bold courage of the Holy Spirit flowing through you unless you're willing to do bold and courageous things? God in His relentless love for you does not want you to settle in life. Make your determined purpose to know Him...and you will be known by Him (Phil 3:10) and mercy and goodness will follow you all the days of your life (Ps 23:6). Wake up sleeper, lift your head, come out from behind your busy schedule...11/14/12-LMM

Enabling Others

Encourage but do not enable...Pain is an undesired but necessary part of the growth process...the catalyst that moves one forward-maturing them to endure and overcome obstacles in life. We can't take or experience pain for others...especially those we love. Trying to save a person from their pain...actually cheats them out of their victory to go through trials and overcome. Encourage but do not enable...Blessings! 11/12/12-LMM
Where you lead me...you will keep me...where you keep me...I will thrive. This was a word given to my husband, Rod, on 11/7/12. It's powerful! LMM

Developing Talent

A talent must be exposed to pressures so it can be developed; when pressed on...it must press back-strengthening it creating endurance. Talents are given to us by our Father and  we must rely on Him for our talent to be properly used; being purged of any self reliance. He is the Vine and we are the branch; a branch will wither and die if not connected to the Vine. So embrace and hold on tight during the storms; you're being strengthened and purged...you will come out on the other side more complete and ready for service! Consider it a pure joy, my brothers, when you face trials of many kinds, because you will know the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:2-4). 8/2012CIFL-LMM

Reaching Your Full Potential...

We have everything we need to reach our full potential because it's God's plan. Our full potential is about God's plan for us...it's a good plan that we are specifically designed for and will like. So when we're fulfilling it, we are complying with Him. Our individual plan is part of God's greater plan in the kingdom; each one of us has a specific role-we're in God's army. Whatever God asks of us...He will equip us to do. [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight (Phil 2:13). Ask God to search your heart and help you to trust Him...He won't ask something of you that you can't carry out...maybe others have in your life, but He won't. I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency] (Phil 4:13). You have what it takes but you must use the resources God gives...I post scripture on my phone and write down verses on index cards-putting them everywhere so I can see them daily. I carry them in my purse and post them in my car. If I'm in the middle of the grocery store and feel a wave of discouragement, I stop right there and pull out one of my scripture to remind me of God's truth. Even though I am not feeling the truth...God's words in front of me...remind me of the truth. These attacks are part of life. God told us it would be that way and He gave us His Word as a weapon to come against them. Romans 12:2 is crucial in renewing our mind...every hour of the day. And we do this day in and day out; determining to know Him and to fulfill the plans He predestined for us. Let's keep it real friends-blessings!                  9/2012Rev11/12/12-LMM
Prayer and Identity...Time with my Father God is vital for my existence. It's not something I have to do; it's something I am privileged to do. I need this time with Him to rise up and be Who He says I am...but it's also my time to praise and honor Him-loving Him for Who He is. As I praise His name...I'm strengthened as I call out Who He is. My Father God is the...I AM, Alpha and Omega, El Shadai, Jehovah Jireh, Savior, Comforter, Protector, and Provider, Creator of the universe. He loves me and all of His children that He knitted together with His very own hands. He always has time for me....He approves of all of me; flooding me with His confidence-correcting and directing me...whispering dreams and ideas into my heart-comforting and assuring me that He's got everything covered and I do not need to be anxious or afraid. This time with my Father God is safe, intimate, and validating...it's during this time together that He shows me my value and worth...where my authentic identity is found and continually developed...so when I go into the world...I know who I am-I know Who I belong to...I am His; time with my Father God...I'm so grateful for it. Let Him be your Father God and offer you all these things I've talked about and more...9/2012-LMM

Prayer is your privilege...don't turn your back on it

Prayer is a privilege...don't turn your back on your privilege. It's not something I have to do...it's something I can do...anytime, anywhere, anyplace...I never have to get in line, make an appnt or even wait...my Father always has time for me. He lovingly corrects & directs me, whispering dreams & ideas into my heart, comforting & assuring me that He's got everything covered. Prayer is safe, intimate, & validating-it's where my identity is continually developed. Prayer is me loving my Father & Him loving me-an authentic relationship of the I AM telling me who I am...so when I go into the world...I know who I am. Prayer is a privilege...don't turn your back on your privilege friend. 9/2012-LMM

God Has Always Loved...You

God's love for you is not measured by what you've done...good or bad; He loved you before you knew Him...He loves you because that's what He does...God is love. There's nothing you can do to make Him stop loving you. You aren't going to feel your way into being loved, because love is a choice...not a feeling; you must choose to receive God's love-He won't force you. The Holy Spirit will gently guide you daily; transforming and healing your spirit-helping you to believe God-increasing your faith in Him. The more you receive and agree with God's love; His truth...the more your mind, heart and spirit are transformed-embracing the revelation of His love for you. Let God love you today-He's waiting...are you willing? (Mal 1:2, Pr 8:17, 1 Jn 5:14-15) 11/12/12CIFL-LMM

Love Does Not Fear...

There's no fear in love, dread does not exist, perfect love turns fear out and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and so he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love; is not yet grown into love's complete perfection (1 John4:18). God is love...purpose to know Him and you will know your purpose...carrying out what He's called you to do...living the life He's planned for you with His confidence in you. Be fueled by His love and let your light shine friend...

The seeds will grow...we plant them, provide the care needed for proper growth and have an expectation of a great harvest because God's in control. We know we're not equipped to give the seeds everything they need...but God is and He will. He's in control of this world and everything in it...whether we choose to believe that He is or not. Choosing to trust guarantees a peace that surpasses all understanding and a confident expectation of things to come...choosing not to trust burdens us with trying to control things that are impossible for us and being anxious about the future. Do your best and let God do the rest!!!

Find relief...in God's Love

God Himself breathes His life into you to give you a hope and a future. His love soothes your mind-bringing it into proper focus of His truth. He tenderly pours His love into every hurting area of your heart; continuing until the wounds find relief, finally overflowing into your spirit and refreshing you...giving you the stamina needed to move forward with His confidence. Will you factor in His Presence in all you do and know how crazy in love your Father is with you...then let His ability move through you to handle your inability? Take a risk...trust Him-I guarantee it will work...because He said so and He never breaks a promise. Blessings! 11/8/12-LMM

God can handle anything...if you trust Him

God can't take you to the next level if you're going to hold on to things or get stuck in stuff at this level...He's promised that He will never leave you. God's truth is for you to overcome...taking you from where you are to where He wants you to be-making an impact for His Kingdom. Trust Him-He's crazy about you. Know His plans are good for you. Our God is before all things & holds all things together so there's no storm too big for Him, no quake that can swallow Him, no fire that can burn Him, no water that can drown Him nor you...because He will take hold of your right hand & never let go-never, never, never! Correction is to make you right...not wrong

Correction's purpose is to make you right...not wrong. To learn, you must love discipline, it is stupid to hate correction (Pr12:1 NLT). Let Jesus flood your heart with His love...binding up and healing old wounds by someone who harshly corrected you or had unrealistic expectations of you (Isa 61:1-2, Rev 3:20). You will be defensive to most correction until you allow Jesus to bind up these old hurts. You want to be approved and valued-especially by those you love, but your defensiveness keeps a barrier between you and everyone and everything you care about. With loved ones, it's an ongoing ugly argument. They try to talk to you, but you don't listen to a word; all you hear is them telling you that you are wrong. They walk away feeling defeated...and more distant from you-exactly what you don't want. You feel overlooked by the world; they won't recognize your talent and you're hurt, but you quickly cover that with anger because you already hurt enough. But you stuff this anger, convincing yourself there is something wrong with them. Listen closely, there's nothing wrong with you...but until you allow Jesus to flush all the old hurts out of your heart and replace the negative voices in your mind with His voice of truth...you will blame the world for something only you can change. Talk with Jesus, He will help you; then commit to understanding yourself by talking with trusted godly counsel and read bible based information. Being made right through correction is a life long process and no one is exempt. Let the love of Jesus flood you...and see yourself as He sees you...perfect and made in His likeness. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Cor 3:17). Blessings friend! 11/7/12-LMM

Focus, purpose, and determination...the three characteristics required to sustain us during the desert periods of life and critical to maintain us...during the prosperous ones. Being void of these in either period leads to an unfulfilled and aimless life. Throw off everything that hinders-the sin that entangles-run with perseverance (Hebrews12:1). Don't lose heart, grow weary or faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season, we shall reap, if we don't loosen and relax our courage and faint (Gal6:9). Don't forgo the life that Jesus died to give us (John 10:10). Blessings friend!

Many can go higher...for awhile...but to stay there...they need deep. (Luke 5:4) 8/2012-LMM

Finding what you're looking for...

You will find what you are looking for. When you find it..if it is not founded in God's truth...you will eventually find yourself looking again. A follower of Jesus finds God's Truth on the inside of them...then with His love, they walk out their steps and find what they are looking for...being satisfied all the days of their life in His completeness (Col 2:10). Let the worshipers arise! 11/6/12-LMM

Confident expectation...in Him

What are your expectations ? What you expect...is what you will find. Expectations are what you believe. Every day you have expectations-anticipating what you will find, based on what you believe. Many believe circumstances dictate what they can expect- this is a worldly lie. As a Christian, your expectations are in Christ-being sure of what you hope for & certain of what you do not see. Fear screams, "what you see is what you can expect." No matter what you're facing...a broken relationship, financial ruin, betrayal of a loved one, death, war, diseased body, depraved mind...you can expect God's mighty to save & He will quiet you with His love. God reigns over the seen & unseen-He holds it all together. Lift your head, have a confident expectation because Jesus lives in you. Your expectations determine your livelihood, not the circumstances you experience. Life is full of  cruel & unfair experiences, but you can have a confident expectation, despite this reality because Christ reigns over all this world-His truth trumps the reality of what you see. Your expectations rely on Jesus-He has overcome this world, expect Him to make a way for you. Daily, you can rely on joy of the Lord being your strength & Jesus filling you with His joy. You're limited in what you see-things are impossible for you-this is a reality, but not for God-remember His truth trumps all reality! God will work out the impossibles you're facing...if you keep your eyes on Him-He's your confident expectation every day! (Heb 11:1, Zeph 3:17, Col 1:17, 2 Cor 5:7, John 16:33, Neh 8:10, Jn 15:11, Luke 18:27) 10/26/13CIFL-LMM

Good moring from God...

Good morning from God...by the way-He's already taken care of everything for you today no matter what you are up against... http://instagr.am/p/O_mzPiRaTu/
While driving one morning God reminded me of His power & ability to take care of what I was facing; then these beautiful sun rays burst through the clouds-confirming He's in control. Whatever you're facing-He's with you. Out of nowhere His Presence will burst on the scene & save you... God is mighty to save-He delights in you, He will quiet you with His love & He will rejoice over you with singing! (Zeph 3:17) 5/12CIFL/LMM #CIFL #godismightytosave

God's Love Completes...You

Look at yourself through God's love for you and...you will never see yourself the same again. When God looks at us-He sees His completeness in us(Col 2:10). He sees us as...loved, favored, talented, unblemished, gifted, endowed, desired, blessed, equipped, pursued, undamaged, valued...When we get a revelation of how God sees us, we begin to allow His completeness to fill us. His love floods us-giving us His confidence to walk out the steps He's ordered (Josh 1:3). Many clearly hear God's call in their heart, but sabotage their walk through self-sufficiency. We are to do our part...but our part is totally relying on God's ability to flow through us...moving forward in the most ridiculous situations knowing, if God doesn't show up...we will be taken under. It's a constant reality check knowing that what you are taking on...will take you under...unless you completely rely on God's ability to take you over. Post the scripture Isaiah 43:2 and read it daily for God's completeness in you..."When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you." This verse is clear that we will go through adversity and experience fear when following God and walking out what He's put in our heart, but He's with us...always. Look at yourself through God's love for you and...you will never see yourself the same again. Blessings friend! 11/6/12CIFL-LMM

You will have troubles...but Jesus has overcome them!

Make a decision-right now...that you will believe the truth Jesus says in John 16:33-In the world you have tribulation, trials, distress, and frustration...take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted. For I have overcome the world. I have deprived it of power to harm you & have conquered it for you. That means no one can steal your joy, offend you, threaten you, crush your hope, steal your dreams, or frustrate you...Jesus has already taken care of everything you may need, want, or desire today. He's already overcome anything that is trying to overcome you. Make a decision-right now...that you will believe the truth Jesus says in John 16:33. Blessings friend! 5/2012-LMM

Anxious...try God's peace

Feeling anxious...try God's peace. To not be anxious about anything is not a suggestion, something to consider, or ponder on-God says it's the requirement for His peace to guard our hearts and mind. He wants us to come to Him and thank Him for handling everything, then talk to Him about what we desire... and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. For years, I struggled to find peace, to not be anxious-only to end up worrying even more. I became anxious while desiring and looking for God's peace-how twisted is that? Then the revelation came to me...I had to choose to believe God's peace...His peace was in me all the time. The burden to produce peace was not on me because it was already in me-I was striving for what God had already deposited in me. I had to choose to believe in His peace available to me. I moved from searching for God's peace...to thanking Him for peace He gave me. Next time you're confronted with an impossible, don't beg God...thank God...for His peace that's in you. His peace guards your heart and your mind so that you're not anxious about nothing, nada, no one or no circumstance is going to take your peace-God's ways work all the time in every situation...blessings friend! (Phil 4:6-7)

A genuine apology...

A genuine apology of "I'm sorry" is followed by a behavior change-if not... you're checking the box to look the part...but not do the part. (Luke 3:8) 8/11/12CIFL-LMM

Take a risk and step out...Jesus is with you

Take a risk and step out...Jesus is with you. People who make a difference are willing to fall down many times...while in the process of making something right. Yes, you'll have critics, big whoop...Are you going to move ahead with what God's put on your heart or are you going to shrink back in fear that you might mess up? You'll mess up one way or another...why not do it while trying to do something right. Make a difference...don't sit around anymore wishing. Wishing will never give you a ride anywhere...but taking steps in faith will. Yes, it's hard, but God has wired us for hard! Do it-make a difference. Take a risk and step out...Jesus is with you. 8/6/12-LMM
God puts us in places we do not want to be in...so He can get us to the places He needs us to be in. 8/4/12-LMM

Words...give life or take it

Words are containers of power...they can build up or they can tear down. Once words are released, they become a permanent part of history. Everyday, you will have an opportunity to speak positive or negative words to people. Withholding healing words when they should be spoken is just as damaging as speaking harsh words. Silence can be a devastating answer when words of reassurance are needed. The tongue holds the power of life and death (Pr 18:21). Our tongue speaks what's in our heart and...what's not in our heart. As water reflects a face, so a man's heart reflects the man (Pr 27:19). Everyday, your speech either adds life to others or takes away life from others. Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing (Pr 12:18). Pleasant words are a honeycomb sweet to the soul and healing to the bones (Pr 16:24). Your words are full of power...use them wisely and make a difference in someone's life today!10/2012CIFL-LMM
Things can go south in a second...make a way for me Jesus...I believe. For the sake of your name, O Lord, revive me. In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble (Ps143:11) 11/2/12-LMM
God watches over our children...God does not mess up...He has no loose ends. One of the greatest gifts you can ever give your children, is to model for them that you have been given the honor to parent them...but that they belong to God (Psalm 91).

Don't forgo your destiny...

Your season has been appointed...don't forgo your destiny-stay focused friend &  carry on with your purpose, determined to let no one take what God has set up for you! He made your plans long ago-seek Him first. Put nothing before God & He will whisper to your heart. He will tell you great & mighty things you did not know. Trust the Word...it's your life line to peace, joy & hope. Don't forgo the destiny God planned for you! (Eph 2:10, Jer 33:3, Mt 6:33) 8/16/12LMM #

Knowing Him is...knowing you and what you need to do-carrying out His purpose in you. God desires for us to know our identity in Him; then no matter what we do or where we go...we know Who we belong to and who we are and what we are suppose to do. "[For my determined purpose is] to know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonder of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in the same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection[which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] (Phil 3:10). Knowing Him...is knowing you and what you need to do-carrying out His purpose in you. 6/2012-LMM
11/3/12-LMM
One of the most powerful ways we can help those we love is to model our trust in Jesus...when the truth we profess with our mouth becomes the trust we experience in our heart and the way we walk through life...in both good and bad circumstances; then we have made a difference to those watching. Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise
(Eph 5:15). And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity
(Col 3:14). 10/24/12-LMM

Following Jesus...stepping away from comfortable and predictable to awkward and unknown. The transition that's required...for us to cling tightly to Him-being known by Him and being loved by Him. This allows the process of us accepting who we are...to no longer participate in pretending to be someone else. The Authentic Healer-filling us with His love for us to become the authentic person God designed for us to be. Going out to the deep...where Jesus will introduce you to His love, your authentic self and then to new people, new things and new ways...don't forfeit your future for fear of releasing your familiar... 10/30/12-LMM

God has no limits...

Remind me Father...that what limits me...does not limit You. Let the worshipers arise-Amen! 9/2012-LMM

Determine in advance how you will respond...

I can't determine in advance what I will come up against in life, but I can determine in advance how I will respond to it...I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything & equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency] (Phil 4:13 5/5/12CIFL-LMM
