Celebrate the power Jesus gives you...every day!

Jesus took it all-He is Risen! And we did too when we received Him as our Lord & Savior! Giving us faith, hope and love-the greatest of these is love. God's love works all the time, with anyone and in every situation. Before we can give God's love-we have to receive His love. Many stumble trying to give love they have not yet received-apart from Him we can do nothing. We started a tradition in our family-a commitment to being cognizant of the power of love given to us at the cross... every day. This vulnerability keeps us real-we all have weaknesses; acknowledging them and sharing allows us to accept where we are and focus on growth instead of perfection. When we can accept where we are...we can accept where others are. Genuinely allowing us to encourage others to become what God calls them to be; affirming...apart from Jesus' love we can do nothing! Celebrate the power of love given to you at the cross...every day-He is risen & so have you! (Mt 28:6, 1 Cor 13:13, Mt 22:37-40, Jn 15:5, 2 Cor 12:9)) 3/31/13CIFL-LMM

No verdict given by man is final...only God's Word is final!

No verdict given by man is final...only God's Word is final. When we experience devastating news, we've got to cling to Him; His hope anchors us-not what we see and hear. The day after Jesus went to the Cross... emotions of despair, hopelessness and uncertainty flooded His loved ones; they had hinged their hope and the direction of their life on Him living-then He went away. We've all been in this situation...we're dazed as we receive devastating news, we never expected it, our mind spins because we can't grasp the reality of what happened-it seems so surreal but it's real and we don't know what to do. God knows and He's in control. The day after Jesus went to the cross His loved ones became hopeless-they had put their hope in what they could see. What they could not see was Jesus making a way for them-overcoming the world... the answer to their despair. And it's what we can't see during our despair and unknowns; Jesus making a way for us-every time. Each end brings a new beginning...but there's a middle part before the new beginning-leaving what we know while on the way to what we don't know, but trusting God's promise that He will abundantly provide all we need; even when our hearts are flooded with despair. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed-Jesus is risen and He's making a way for you where you can't see a way! No verdict given by man is final...only God's Word is final. ( Heb 6:19, Jn 16:33, Lk 23:44-56, Eph 3:20, Jn 20:29, Mt 6:28) 3/30/13CIFL-LMM

Need direction...Jesus will help you

Need direction in life...go to Jesus. He will transform your life-no one is denied. Be transformed in your heart, mind and body in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John-read the words of Jesus...and take comfort. Ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you (Mt 7:7). Daughter, your faith has healed you-go in peace and be freed from your suffering (Mk 5:34). Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with very much (Lk 16:10). Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don't let your hearts be troubled and don't be afraid (Jn14:27). Speak God's Word, embrace the love of Jesus-the life that lives in you, allow the Holy Spirit to guide you...this is your daily transformation so that you do not conform. They perish for lack of knowledge (Hos 4:7), God's Word is life-protecting us from perishing. God gives us the privilege of His Word-His knowledge imparted to us and we are transformed...use what you have and you will be given more (Mark 4:24)! 10/2012CIFL-LMM

Holding on to hurt...holds you back

Holding on to hurt...holds you back. Hurt is like a toxic spill in your body. Every time you revisit the hurt...toxins leak into every cell of your body-causing harm to your heart, mind and spirit. You can't manage the damage but Jesus can-release your hurt to Him. Then renew your mind...be transformed and changed-creating a new attitude. Release hurt and renew your mind daily-it's purposed work that pays off so you can walk out the good plans God's called you to! (Rom 12:2) 3/29/13CIFL-LMM
You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (Psalm 139:16)

You're not a mistake...you're a masterpiece!

You're not a mistake...you're a masterpiece-dreams, desires & a destiny are waiting on the inside of you! God chose & knitted you together in the womb. You're not a mistake, after thought or whoops...you were chosen & loved by God first. People who were suppose to love you & care for you may have treated you wrong, but that doesn't make you wrong. Hold onto this truth-it's your trump card when the enemy whispers lies! God planned every day of your life before you were born; let this truth sink in-you're suppose to be here right now!

When you seek God His love gives life to the dreams, desires & destiny that He put in you-then surrendering you will to His will brings to completion what He started long ago. It's crucial you embrace this truth... the enemy wants you to feel inferior & if you believe His lies more than God's truth you will feel inferior. But if you stand on God's Word, agree with it & believe it more than you believe what your feelings tell you or the enemy whispers then you will develop & grow into the person He created you to be! But you have to leave your comfort zone...there's no by pass! Our faith only grows when we're placed in situations that cause us to be uncomfortable & uncertain-until then we profess our faith but don't know the depth of it until it's tried & tested! How do you know God will do exceedingly & abundantly more than you dare imagine unless you intimately know the Holy Spirit & His power that will flow through you to accomplish God's plans? Until a person experiences the revelation that God is their source for everything they need-they will seek from the hand of man what only the hand of God can deliver!

Many opt out of God's plans-preferring comfort over uncomfortable & relying on their wisdom instead of God's power. They lean into their understanding & justify reasons they can't follow God's path...a person thinks in their mind they're right but it leads to death. And they forfeit the dreams, desires & destiny God planned for them long ago! Will you trust God to bring to fruition the desires, dreams & destiny He planned long ago? (Ps 139:16, 1 Cor 2:5, Eph 2:10, Phil 1:6, Rom 12:2, Jn 8:31-32, Pr 3:5-6) LMM #trustgod #dreams #desires #destinies #loveignites #christianinsightforlife

Choosing a Successful Path

It's not the path you prepare for that makes you successful...it's the path God's already prepared for you that you will be successful! Trust God with all your heart...don't rely on your understanding. Seek Him first...in all you do & He will direct you in a successful path (Pr3:5) 12/24/13CIFL-LMM

Don't throw away your confidence...

Don't be discouraged...keep moving forward. No verdict given by man is final...only God's Word is final. Be obedient to the plan God put in your heart. Opposition, discouragement & doubt will come at you daily-wanting you to justify your cause. God put this plan in you to use you...not prove you. Don't throw away your confidence, be patient & endure, so that you may perform God's will & receive, carry away & enjoy to the full what's promised. And He will make your righteous shine like the dawn & the justice of your cause...like the noonday sun! (Heb 10:35-36, Ps 37:6) 12/20/12CIFL/LMM

Rise up...God wants to shine His light through you!

Your steps are ordered to make a difference...you have a specific plan to carry out-God wants to shine His light through you! Don't get stuck in a limited vision of practical, logical and attainable; you won't need God because it's all within your ability. God wants you to take bold steps into the impossible, then He will begin to supply you with all you need... along the way. He will never be late, but rarely early- so your "trust muscles" can become strong for the battles ahead like...doubt, fatigue, disappointment, rejection and resistance. Don't worry about looking ridiculous; some will support you, others won't-many will criticize. You have no time to figure out what others are thinking-it's a distraction; plus, others don't order your steps...God does. Anytime someone has the guts to step out critics will appear. It's easy to be a Monday morning quarterback...it takes guts to be bold and follow what God has put on your heart; your faithfulness will be rewarded. Keep moving ahead with your eyes on Jesus-the Holy Spirit will tell you if you miss it...do you trust Him to tell you? God knew the adversity you would encounter, the mistakes you would make and the pain and hurt you'd experience... but you see, He worked it all in-each and every mistake. God's not overwhelmed by the mistakes you've made...He's already gone before anything you will face. You're to be anxious about nothing, He holds everything together...His Word is a Lamp to your feet and a Light to your path. You're not honoring God when you remind Him of all your mistakes-if you've repented, move forward so God can use you for the kingdom. God wants to know if you're ready to rise up and let Him shine His Light through you? Are you ready??? (Jer 29:11, Phil 4:7, Heb 10:35, Ps 119:105, Col 1:17, Mt 5:16) 8/17/12CIFL-LMM

God's Masterpiece...

You are God's masterpiece created to do the good works He planned long ago...don't let your feelings talk you out of God' truth. (Eph 2:10) 3/26/13CIFL-LMM

Big V...vulnerability

For years I hid behind my Christian comfort zone. I honestly didn't know I was hiding-when we're desperate to make something work...we lose perspective-I had lost mine. Deception had me believing that I'd finally gotten it all together, but most of my time was spent...trying to keep it all together-as long as I looked right, I thought I could feel right. Then Jesus introduced me to the big V... vulnerability. The last year and a half I've been walking this journey of vulnerability-it's been risky but worth the prize...much more to say on this topic. 3/25/13CIFL-LMM

Adversity...going through and knowing Jesus

Adversity...going through it takes you to an uncertain, unfamiliar, and uncomfortable place. A place where your pride is purged, false confidence eradicated, and beliefs challenged...a time of holy revelation of Jesus' love. His love is for you and in you-unwavering, unmovable, and unstoppable; you know deep in your spirit that you belong to Him. It's a beautiful, risky, and confident place to be...trusting He will walk you through places where you can't see, give you the strength to press on when you have none and give hope and life to situations that are considered dead. Knowing He will provide all you need, not to just get by, but more than you could dare ever ask for...Jesus, He loves you-will you let Him show you? (2 Cor 5:7, Isa 40:29, Rom 4:17, Eph 3:20) 11/25/12CIFl-LMM

Shame...chains you to your past

Shame steals, kills and destroys your hope and future-you're unable to live in the present because you live life through your past shame. You're faced with a situation were you're not included and feelings of rejection begin to overwhelm you. You earnestly try to fight off the feelings-the more you fight...the more dismissed you feel. Then a wave of anger begins to grow inside of you-you just can't understand why this person would treat you this way. Your head is spinning and your heart is hurting. Logic tells you that you're over reacting, but your feelings are smothering you. Be careful...you've fallen into a pit-the enemy is like a roaring lion and will devour you at this point. Run to Jesus-He will help you!

You're experiencing two separate issues: 1) your feeling are hurt-you feel dismissed by a person 2) unresolved shame is distorting your perception; it's  a huge vacuum inside of you-screaming you don't matter, you're not valued and people dismiss you. You're aware that your feelings are hurt, but you don't realize that shame is fueling the emotions of intense hurt mixed with anger. Shame distorts your perception ...keeping the view of your present obscured. Until shame is flushed out with Jesus' love it will continue to control you. Let Jesus have it-He will go to work and won't stop-He needs your cooperation...let Him love all of you and expect Him to heal you. The enemy wants to convince you that it's others causing this pain...it's not. You're chained to your shame-only Jesus can restore you. Don't let shame take what Jesus died to give you. Jesus will cut the chains of shame off of you and heal you with His love...will you let Him? (2 Peter 5:8, John 14:23, John 10:10, Jer 29:11) 3/26/13LMM #shamechainsyou #christianinsightforlife

Leave your past at the Cross...Jesus did.

Your past is at the cross...why are you still carrying parts of it around? You have a brand new identity; Jesus lives in you-He's risen and so have you...live like it! Don't waste valuable time reasoning if you're worthy or not-it's a dead issue (no pun intended). God's Word says you are worthy because His Son wiped out your sin and His Spirit lives in you. This Easter lay down the past you've been carrying-rise up and embrace the love of Jesus that's alive in you so you can do the good work God called you to long ago. Leave your past at the Cross...Jesus did! (Col 1:20, Ps 103:12, Eph 1:7, 2 Cor 5:17, Eph 2:10) 3/25/13CIFL-LMM

When you're weak...you're strong!

God takes you through...not around. Many plead with God, "remove this, I can't take it-it's too much for me to handle! This prayer is rarely answered because God wants you to rely on His sufficiency to get you through verses you looking to Him to  remove the situation. His power is made perfect in your weaknesses; when you're weak...you're strong because His strength flows through you.

If He were to remove the impossible situation, you wouldn't know the strength He makes available to you to...get through! Every impossible you come through is an opportunity to experience God's love & faithfulness to you; when you're weak...you are strong! Watch with awe as He walks you through it! (2 Cor 12:9-10, Ps 100:5) 5/2012LMM #godperfectshisstrenghtinyourweakness #christianinsightforlife

Being comfortable with who we are...

When we're comfortable with who we are...we're comfortable with whoever we are around. Where the Spirit of the Lord is...there is freedom (2 Cor 3:17). 8/13/12-CIFL-LMM

Prayer-confidence & identity...

Spending time with your Father God in prayer allows His confidence to be poured in you and it's vital for your identity in Him to be developed-your stability thrives on the intimacy you have with Him. Spending time in prayer is not something you have to do...it's something you are privileged to do. You need this time with Him to rise up and be Who He says you are and it's your time to praise, honor and thank Him-loving Him for Who He is. As you praise His name you are strengthened. Your Father God is the...I AM, the Alpha and Omega, El Shaddai, Jehovah Jireh, Savior, Comforter, Protector, Provider, Creator of the universe. He loves you-He knitted you together with His very own hands. He always has time for you....He approves of all of you; flooding you with His confidence-directing and correcting you...whispering dreams and ideas into your heart-comforting and assuring you that He's got everything covered and you don't need to be anxious or afraid. This time with your Father God is safe, intimate and validating-it's during this time together that He shows you your value and worth-where your authentic identity is found and continually developed. When you go into the world-you know who you are, not because of who you are...but because of Who you know you belong to...you are His; time with your Father God-guard your time with Him. Seek God, let Him be your Father-His love completes you...He will give you more than you would ever ask for or could even dream about! (Col 2:10, Ps 139:13, Col 1:17, Mt 6:33, Eph 3:20) 9/2012CIFL-LMM

Focused, purposed, determined-reaching your full potential...

Staying focused, purposed and determined to reach your full potential-God's plan for your life. You have everything you need-this should give you great relief and confidence that the burden to produce isn't on you...but the burden to comply is; if you want to fulfill God's individual plans for you. You have what it takes because God's given you what it takes. His truth is what it takes-obeying His truth sets you free to be who He's called you to be; this individual plan is part of His greater kingdom plan. Whatever God asks of you-He will also equip you to do. [Not in your own strength] for it's God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight. God won't ask something of you that He won't carry out through you...maybe others have-He won't, but He needs your trust and cooperation to do so. I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]. Know the Word, know God, know His truth...it's your life line to be walked through every adversity in life. Many evils confront the [consistently] righteous-and God delivers him out of everyone of them. Don't be naive...obedience doesn't exempt you from these trials, but it does guarantee God will walk you through them! I post scripture on my phone and write down verses on index cards-putting them everywhere so I can see them daily. If I'm in the grocery store and feel a wave of discouragement, I stop right there and begin to read scripture to remind me of God's truth-if I can't put my eyes on it, I speak what I've memorized. Even though I'm not feeling His truth...God's Word reminds me of His truth. And we do this day in and day out-focusing purposing, and determining to know Him and to fulfill the plans He predestined for us long ago! (Jn 8:31-32, Phil 2:14, Phil 4:13, Ps 34:19, Eph 2:10)

You're not alone in parenting-you've got God!

You're not alone in parenting...you've got God; He's got everything covered. You can't control how life happens to your children...but you can prepare them for life. Teach them how to call on the name of Jesus! Model your commitment to your intimate time with God-explaining this is where you receive Jesus' love & where He gives you His confidence to face hard things in life. Don't say..."all we can do is pray," instead say, "we have the privilege to pray-to enter the throne room of God Almighty & to be heard!" Walk out what you believe every day. Explain Jesus has overcome & conquered anything they will ever face-that doesn't exempt them from lonely times, being ridiculed or rejected, or having unfair things happen to them....but they can count on God's love to victoriously move them through each one of these adversities. Let them know you've been given the honor to parent them, you know God has good plans for them & they've got what it takes! Don't try to be the all knowing parent-you will back yourself in a corner. Be vulnerable & let them know you don't have all the answers but your Father God does & He will lead you in the right direction. Showing children this vulnerability is powerful because it allows them to witness your confidence in God's ability to provide for you & guide you in intense & important situations. Let them know you will always speak God's truth because He's entrusted you to do so & there's enough love in you supplied by God Himself to handle their anger towards you. Tell them you've been given the honor to parent them, but they belong to God & that makes you feel safe...because He's the greatest Superhero of all time! Be honest when they ask questions-explain things happen you can't control...but God's always in control & your confidence is in Him. Explain God doesn't promise they will not face danger, but He does promise...He will be with them during the danger. God commands His angels to watch over children & He's before all things-He holds everything together. You're not alone in parenting...you've got God-He's got everything covered & your children can call on the name of Jesus! (Jn 16:33, Isa 41:13, Dan 3:27, Isa 41:13, Ps 91:11-12, Col 1:17) 11/20/12CIFL-LMM

Jesus' peace is authentic...

As Christians we must know the peace Jesus gives and distinguish it from what the world gives. Jesus' peace is authentic-we have access to His peace because He lives in us. Be careful what you hear; see to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophies...by adding or taking away from the Word with human reasoning. We can't create Jesus' peace, self-will it, or meditate our way to it; we receive it from Jesus. God says His peace surpasses our human understanding-it guards our minds and hearts. Our minds can't comprehend how God's ways work...His ways are higher than ours. There's a way that seems right to a man, but it's end is the way to death. Every living person has a faith deposit from God placed in them when they were knitted together in their mother's womb by Christ's hands. Every individual is designed  to seek outside of themselves ultimately choosing Jesus as their Savior and following Christ and walking out the plan He purposed for them long ago. God loves each person He created, but will not force His love-each individual is given the choice to believe in His love or not to believe. Many want to believe some of God's truth, then mix His truth with other beliefs...Jesus is the only way, truth and life. No person is to add to His truth or take away from from His truth; if they do...they're flirting with disaster and will create confusion-forfeiting God's protection of peace in their minds and hearts. Don't drown in the grandeur of self deception and forfeit the peace Jesus Christ offers...turn and run to Him!  (Phil 4:7, Rom 12:3, Col 2:8, John 14:6, Isa 55:9) 1/26/13CIFL-LMM

Take refuge in the Lord...

Take refuge in the Lord...reasoning leads to insanity, but a mind that is steadfast on Him will be kept in perfect peace...because you trust in Him. God never sleeps, grows tired or runs out of ideas...there's nothing He can't make or invent...He's never borrowed money or been unemployed...you won't run out of time because...He owns time! God loves you and will provide everything you need...trust, rest and put all of your hope in Him-He anchors your soul! Will you make the decision to have your mind take refuge in Him today? God is Mighty to Save...you

God's love overcomes-He will tell you who you belong to and who you are...that you're valued and loved. His love never changes because He never changes. His love is predictable-He will never love you less no matter what you do. His love is a power that will ignite every neuron in your body because He knows every neuron in your body...He designed you. Let Him love you so you can know authentic love. You think you know love...but you've experienced counterfeit love. God's love doesn't harm, belittle you, or want you to beg and prove yourself worthy of receiving love. His love accepts all of you-past, present and future. No person can make your pain go away, stop the scenes you play in your mind continually, or cease the voices of accusation...but God can and He will; call out to Him-He's mighty to save! His love you completes you. You are worth it despite what you've been told-they don't know, but God does-let Him love you today. You are not a left over, side lined, or last pick-you are a child of God, Christ Himself...let Him love you today. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Let God love you today and so you can know His love-He is mighty to save...and you are worth it! (Zeph 3:17, Isa 61:10, Col 2:10, 2 Cor 3;17) 5/4/12CIFL-LMM

Refuse to settle...

Refuse to settle...if you've received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior; you're saved and you're His child...live like it-don't dread one more day! "Lean your entire personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness. Walk, regulate and conduct yourself in union with and conformity to Him. Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted, fixed and founded in Him- being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in faith." Whatever God asks you to do...He equips you to do. You're equipped when you...lean your entire personality on Him, absolute trust and confidence etc. Do it one step at a time, breathe, then do it again. It's hard, but God's wired you for hard. Remain steadfast, patient, move forward, endure, don't forfeit your prize. Refuse to settle...you won't regret it! (Col 2:5-7, Heb 10:35-36)8/17/12CIFL-LMM

God wants to prepare you for His work...

What you do with your time while in a place you don't want to be will determine how long you need to be there. God's not punishing you-He's preparing you to   embrace His Word...it's a lamp to your feet and a light for your path so that you may be fully competent and thoroughly equipped to know how to do His work in the world. Don't waste another day-get ready! (2 Tim 3:17, Ps 119:105) 3/19/13CIFL-LMM

Be confident...

Thank you Jesus for making a way for us! We can be confident in knowing that delay doesn't mean denial...believing doesn't depend on seeing and perseverance in maintaining a focus on You will bring all Your promises to pass! (Jn 14:6, Gal 6:9) 3/18/13CIFL-LMM

A passion lives in you...

Passion...you don't choose your passion-it's placed in you by God. When you really know God's love for you deep in your spirit, your passion rises up...it has to-it's God's design. Your passion is fueled by God's love; believing Him flows His confidence through you to carry out the purpose...the passion He put in you. Passion does not rely on popular opinion or wait for approval by the world; it's been approved-because you are approved by God! You are purposed by God...rise up! Receive, walk out and fulfill the passion that's on the inside of you! Blessings friend! (1 Cor 12:6) 10/13/12CIFL-LMM

Knowing God...knowing you

Knowing Him is...knowing you and what you need to do-carrying out His purpose in you. God desires for us to know our identity in Him; then no matter what we do or where we go...we know Who we belong to and who we are and what we are suppose to do. "[For my determined purpose is] to know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonder of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in the same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] (Phil 3:10). Knowing Him...is knowing you and what you need to do-carrying out His purpose in you. 7/2012-CIFL-LMM

Know the truth...and be set free!

The biggest problems you have in life are the things that you won't acknowledge as problems in your life. You've grafted these problems into your identity; exactly what the enemy wants...to steal, kill and destroy the life Jesus died to give you. Know, receive and walk out the truth-it will set you free! A Conversation with God...lesson on fear

A Conversation with God...lesson on fear. God clearly spoke to my heart on fear-Here's what He said..."Fear will scream silently in your mind throughout the day...you missed it, someone took your spot, you won't get the chance again, work harder-maybe you can make up for lost time, don't trust and you won't get hurt, don't count on anyone, don't ask for help or you will look weak and incompetent, you upset God- again, you're not going to make a difference, they're just using you, that idea is self serving, you're too needy and emotional, you lost your temper-again... nothing is going to change. Know this...fear's only ploy is to create panic in you which drowns out you hearing My voice. Listen closely, I've got it...you didn't miss anything, I have no barriers to providing for you-My love transcends time, the past, present and future have no limits on Me...I own time. Don't drown yourself in fear's lies or try to figure conflicts out that are beyond you-the mind of the flesh leads to death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace. Look at this world through My Word; it's a lamp to your feet and  a light to your path. My Word can't be separated from Me...to profess to be a Christian but think like the world will mess you up-really. Accept Me, My Word, renew your mind with it-then you will hear My voice. You do know I've ordered every step of yours, right? You were planned by me-I formed you in your mother's womb...don't ever let anyone tell you that you were not planned or you don't have a purpose. You are purposed by Me-you don't have to feel this to believe this...but as you believe it-you will feel it. Know this, I've always loved you, but I desire for you to love Me too. I want to spend time with you every day-I want a meaningful relationship with you. Even though I never leave you, sometimes you forget this, call out to Me-anytime, anywhere, anyplace-I'll answer. Let My love satisfy you-now rest child, I've got everything covered." (Rom 8:6, 12:2, Ps 91:15-16, 119:105, 139:13, James 1:6, Pr 20:24) 2/9/13CIFL-LMM

Time doesn't wait...

Most everything can wait...except time-it doesn't wait. I wasted more than I want to recall; in my mind I believed I was doing right. Then I came to the end of my efforts...and that's where I met Jesus! His truth set me free-I released my plan. I follow Him-He's the way, truth and life. My ability to follow Him-depends on my willingness to completely rely on Him...for everything. I remember where my efforts got me-I know I can do nothing apart from Him. I'm not wasting anymore time...what about you? (Pr 16:25, Jn 8:32, 14:26, 15:5) 3/15/13CIFL-LMM

You are more than a conqueror...

Becoming more than a conqueror in Christ-the long & hard seasons that deplete & fatigue you...are the very same ones that prepare & catapult you into becoming a conqueror! Don't try to pray these difficult seasons away for you or anyone else; they're the building blocks for an identity in Christ-the true self. These seasons press, push & purge the securities you hold onto instead of Christ...allowing for God's love to flood your heart, mind & soul. It's a beautiful thing to find Christ's love in the middle of your emptiness & fatigue. When all the props are taken away, back ups removed, comforts that made you feel approved, good enough & important are gone-then you will find Jesus, His love, security & promises. It's when you're at your end...then you're known by Him my friend-it's how you become more than a conqueror!

A conqueror doesn't gain strength based on merit, what they accomplish or what they can do for someone, but a conqueror knows their strength comes from the One Who chose & justified them. Who can come against you if God's for you, can anything separate you from His love, a situation too big for Him, a hardship He can't handle, a hurt He's never heard of??? Nothing, nada, no one can come between Christ & you-ever! Don't run from this hard season- you'd be running from the arms of Christ & He wants you to know He loves you & that in Him you're more than a conqueror! Will you trust Christ to love & strengthen you through this season? Focus, Purpose & Determination

Focus, purpose and determination...the three characteristics required to sustain us during the desert periods of life and critical to maintain us...during the prosperous ones. Being void of these in either period leads to an unfulfilled and aimless life. Many things will attempt to distract you. Remain in Jesus and He will remain in you...providing you with everything you need to fulfill what God asks of you. Hollow and deceptive philosophies will mock what you believe- wanting you to prove them wrong. You don't have to, God already has-you're to not engage with them. Throw off everything that hinders you-don't allow anything to entice you or lure you into a trap; run with perseverance. Don't lose heart, grow weary or faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season, you shall reap, if you don't loosen and relax your courage and faint. Don't be fooled...the enemy has every intent to steal, kill and destroy your life, but always remember the truth... Jesus died to give you life-rise up with Him to keep your focus, purpose and determination!  (Heb 12:1, Gal 6:9, Jn 10:10). 8/16/12CIFL-LMM

How deep is your love...

How deep is your love...do you take everything to God or just the big stuff? Do you plead with Him to help you land a job, but not talk to Him about how to organize your garage or keep your home in order? Do you ask for help in developing healthy relationships to making healthy food choices? Do you think He cares about the new color you put in your hair or the new iphone you want? I'll tell you, "yes He does," God cares about everything you care about. He knows every hair on your head, gave you a unique fingerprint, made good plans for your life, ordered every step of yours & knows your name...God cares about every tiny detail of your life!

Maybe you were raised to handle the little things by yourself & not bother adults, so you approach God the same way & do not want to bother Him with the little things. Listen closely…anything you take to God is little! Your biggest problem is little & your smallest problem is little-He reigns over all you see & don't see & holds it together in His hands; nothing escapes Him! God cares about every detail of your life! Think about this-God wants a personal & intimate relationship with you. An intimate relationship is familiar, close, vulnerable, private & deep-because everything is shared, right? That's what God wants with you! He will stay up all night to talk if you want. How can you have an intimate relationship with God if you only take some things to Him? The answer is, "you can't."

And you know what else? Your intimacy with God is reflected in your intimacy with your loved ones. Do you only take some things to those you love because you don't want to bother them? To the extent you're open with God is the extent you're able to be open with those you love. As you expose your heart to God & see that He approves all of you then you're able to have the courage to open up to those you love because you already know you're approved. How deep is your love? (Mt 6:11, 6:33, 10:29-30, Jer 29:11, Col 1:17) 3/13/13LMM  #howdeepisyourlove #askGod #Godcareaboutyou #Godisinterestedinyou #christianinsightforlife

Expect trials...

Expect trials constantly and expect God to be with you... constantly. His love keeps you safe and gives you hope in the middle of an uncertain world. Some days life can begin to choke the "life" out of you. You can't go through life independent of God's covering-His provisions, promises and plans. As a Christian, you're not promised exemption from trials, tribulations or tests, but you're promised the peace of God that transcends all understanding, His comfort during conflict and His hope in place of despair. God has the power to keep His promises to you...but His promises are only as powerful to you as you believe, receive and walk them out. God's hope is your anchor during trials while going through life; He's with you always...it's His promise to you.  (Jer 29:11-13, Phil 4:7, Heb 6:19, Ps 73:23) 3/13/13CIFL-LMM

Self-sufficiency...leads to death!

Self-sufficiency sees through the finite mind of human ability; there's a way that seems right in the mind but its end is the way of death. Trying to manage & live life independent of God's sufficiency subjects a person to tormented thinking because they're trying to serve the world & Him. They know God's promises, but live as if they don't because they think as the world thinks...take matters into your hands or someone will take you. When a person take matters into their own hands-they're guaranteed to be taken...because they're separated from God's provisions!

Self-sufficient thinking leads to a person comprising their integrity, rationalizing dishonesty & trying to manipulate desired outcomes; resulting in tormented thinking...a way of death! If you're seeing life without God's provisions-you've wandered too far! Turn from doing life your way-it leads to death! Know the truth & be set free-run to Him, rest in Him-He will supply all you need & more than you can imagine or dare ask for...run to Him! (Pr 16:25, Lk 16:13, Eph 3:20) 3/12/13CIFL-LMM#runtogod #christianinsighforlife www.facebook.com/christianinsightforlife

Call out to Jesus...

When pain and despair are trying to take your last breath...call out to Jesus! He's the only One Who can pull you out. He knows hell-He took it on to save us. Make a way for me Jesus...I believe. For the sake of your name, O Lord, revive me. In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble! (Ps143:11) 12/15/12CIFL-LMM

Say...Jesus!

Jesus...He shows up when others don't, holds you when others won't, reveals what others can't. He has no barriers...He's unstoppable, He's the name above all names...Jesus! He's tender, precious and kind, He's the bridge to our Father. He's the way, the truth and the life. Don't be afraid or discouraged...this is all going to change. You're loved and there's a good plan, say...Jesus! (Isa 46:10, Jn 14:6, Phil 2:9) 12/30/12CIFL-LMM

We see an end...God sees a beginning

We see an end...God sees a beginning! God's eyes sweep to and fro searching for those who need and believe in Him- desiring the security of His love- wanting to do life with Him. God wants us to run to Him and rest in Him like a child who realizes they've wandered too far. When the child sees their parent- they run to them and the parent scoops them up- hugging them tightly and reassuring them that they are safe. We wander off in our self sufficiency when we try to fix things-meditating more on what we see than what God sees. We see a closed door-He sees an opened door, we see death-He sees life, we see no way-He sees His way. When we see life without His provisions...we've wandered too far-we need to quickly run to Him and rest in Him-His provisions. We're to meditate on His Word day and night, careful to do everything written in it-not allowing it to depart from our mouth-then we will be prosperous and successful. Whatever God asks us to do-He equips us to do. He supplies His sufficiency-we're to meditate on what He says...day and night; He always meets us where we are in our understanding. Be deliberate in meditating on the Word, but know the enemy's bait- one tiny shift, a single thought and you can see disaster...but as quickly as you see disaster-you must choose to believe God's provisions. The key is "quickly and consistently" run back to God's truth in your mind. You don't have to know how God will provide-to believe...He will provide. The enemy wants you to focus on how God will provide-he baits you with questions...how do you think God will make this happen, do you think He wants you to initiate the process, so what's your game plan? Know the bait he lures you with. Run to God and rest in Him...every situation you see as an end-God sees as a beginning. Meditate on His Word day and night, don't let it depart from your mouth, know God must empower you to do what He asks of you-then you will be prosperous and successful. You can-because God will through you...will you let Him??? (2 Chron 16:9, Ps 55:22, Josh 1:8) 2/15/13CIFL-LMM

Believe the impossible...

Jesus never asked us to do the impossible...He asked us to believe the impossible. (Jn14:13-14) 3/10/13CIFL-LMM

What you see...is not the final chapter!

Believing God is knowing what you see is not the final chapter...that He's your Comforter, Provider, and Way Maker. When doubt side swipes you and anxiety presses your chest so hard you can barely breathe...believe God-He gives relief and hope for the future. (Heb 6:19) 12/18/12CIFL-LMM

Press forward...you're made for hard!

Press forward-you're made for hard! Pressing forward requires you to let go of where you've been...and where you are. God made you for hard-you will know this when you completely believe Him with your heart and mind; allowing Him to manage your life. Until then you try will reason potential outcomes of why you can't press forward. Choose to release your grip, untangle yourself and turn from the things that interfere in your relationship with Jesus. Don't settle for anything less than a deep, intimate and satisfying relationship with Jesus. The only thing that separates you and Jesus is...you believing Him. Decide today to strain forward-push in, grasp and hold onto the freedom Christ died to give you. Be careful to not get in the rut of what you're not-instead focus on who God says you are...His masterpiece. Keep your eyes on Jesus-He began and finished this race you're in...He will take you across the finish line! Guard your relationship with Him-His love got you from your past to now...but He's also the bridge from where you are right now to where God calls you to be in the future. Press forward, onward and upward-make your determined purpose to know Him and be known by Him! Do it...press forward-you're made for hard! Trials...

God says He loves us and He will never leave us. If we believe Who God says He is, then during trials, we're secure in His love even though we don't understand everything. But if our belief in God is based on...what we can understand Him doing or not doing...then we love Him conditionally-our love is determined by His responses in particular situations. When we go through trials, we have an opportunity to mature our faith and develop perseverance-so that we lack nothing. God says to ask for wisdom during trials and He will give it without finding fault, but when we ask, we must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave in the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not believe he will receive anything from the Lord; he is double minded man, unstable in all he does. God welcomes our questions that challenge us...but not rhetorical ones that challenge Him. You're crossing a line when you question His authority...it's blatant disrespect and you're testing Him-ask Jesus to help you not to doubt. When I committed my life to Christ, I made the decision to believe Him, but I didn't completely trust Him. I was honest and told God I wanted to believe Him but I was scared to trust Him. Then God sent His help...grace and mercy to do a work in me so I could receive what I professed to believe in my heart. My Father God met me where I was. I was doubting and I asked for help...and He made a way for me. He will for you too friend, if you ask. Our Father loves us, He meets us where we are-we must decide if we believe all of His promises and count on Him each day to provide for us; this is how we strengthen our faith daily. He's for you and not against you-rest in Him being for you! (James 1:2-8, Mt 4:7, Mk 9:24, Eph 2:8-9, Mt 7:7, Rom 8:31) 5/12-LMM

Break up with self defeat...today!

Break up with self defeat today-he's not your friend. He presents himself as being concerned about what you need to work on, but his goal is to discourage & overwhelm you. His agenda-stealing the promises of God from you. You are God's masterpiece-you don't have to prove this...God already has. Rise up & break up with self defeat today! (Eph2:10) 3/7/13CIFL-LMM

Your willpower doesn't work...Jesus does!

Your willpower doesn't work...Jesus does. You can't deliver yourself, but Jesus can...if you release control. Willpower deceives you into believing if you try hard enough you can make things happen. You can try until you die-only Jesus can make things happen. Submit your will to Jesus' power...and Jesus will power His strength through you. Making you ready for and equal to anything through Him-He infuses inner strength into you; your willpower becomes sufficient in Christ's sufficiency. Don't try to change things on your own one more day-submit your will to Jesus' power and...be delivered from what you can't control! (Phil 1:13, Lk 1:37, Phil 4:13) 3/7/13CIFL-LMM #willpower #faith #Jesuspower #christianinsightforlife

Your Individual Plan...

God has designated and equipped you to carry out an individual plan-it's part of His kingdom plan. This plan is not about your level of ability, flexibility of your schedule or current conditions in the economy. It's about your cooperation and your believing what God will do in your life. You must make a decision to believe God's Word and move despite the impossible obstacles you see. God told Joshua, "I will give you every place where you set your foot." God had the Promise Land waiting for Joshua, but he had to take the steps to take possession of it. The Jordan was at it's highest water level-making the crossing difficult and treacherous. Giants lived in the land-they could kill Joshua and his people. The danger was evident- the risk a natural concern...Joshua didn't reason the obvious-he focused on God's Word and moved forward. We're not to figure out the how, that's God's job-we're to walk out the plan He designates to us and believe He will equip us to carry it out. Do you believe God has a plan for you? Even if you don't...He does, but you will never  know it until you walk it. Do you believe God will equip you? He will...but you won't know until you're in the middle of an impossible and He supplies you with all you need. Take the risk-believe Him. God's truth and promises are offered to anyone...who will believe. Will you believe? (Josh 1:3, Eph 3:20, Jn 20:29, Mk 11:22) 9/5/12CIFL-LMM

God takes us to an edge we'd never go to on our own...

God takes us to an edge we'd never go to on our own.  It's where we are meant to jump into His arms & to know Him & be known by Him-having faith in Him to provide everything we need & living in the freedom He promises!

We're all called to the edge but not all jump. It's the edge of total surrender-complete trust in our Father God. We can't believe on our own-we need help to see & hear what God says is true. Any person who calls on Him will be saved! But even after we're saved we need help every day to believe...we never reach a point of self sufficiency in faith-our minds have to renewed constantly! But God's got every base covered, He will even give us the desire & power to obey what He asks of us!

God's before all things-what we see & don't see; He holds it all together with His mighty hands...including our lives. Our mind clings to human reasoning, desperately trying to understand what only our spirit can discern. When we submit our mind to the Spirit we experience living in the freedom He promises & can boldly go to the edge He calls us to & jump! This jump allows us to walk in truth; to become who He says we are...His masterpiece-purposed to do the good works He planned long ago!

The enemy wants to create fear in your mind-he will challenge Spirit led revelations from a human perspective by reminding you of all the potential wrongs that could occur & what an absolute fool you's be for believing God! Don't entertain these lies they will makes your mind spin until you're not sure what you heard God speak to you. Then not wanting to risk missing God you will turn around & walk away from the edge...dejected, tired & hopeless!

Don't forgo the jump, you will forgo your future...the good plans God made for you long ago! Today is a good day to go to the edge & jump into the loving arms of your Father...He's waiting, He loves you & He promises to catch you! The greatest is...love

Faith, hope & love...the greatest of these is love. Authentic love comes from God who loved us first-Love is seen-Love is secure-Love believes God's Promises-Love is tireless-Love is fierce, pushing back wrong-Love scales a wall to protect-Love is not afraid of criticism or rejection- Love stands firm in adversity-Love works through the night to provide-Love perseveres when exhausted-Love that's fabricated stinks-Love is hurt but never destroyed-Love waits & endures, never self serving-Love builds godly relationships-Love holds on loosely, never controlling or manipulating-Love seeks the Holy Spirit's direction-Love does not choke, push, put down or force-Love forgives & releases but never binds or compromises-Love can't endorse sin-Love moves in courage & knocks down Goliaths. Love believes God in the middle of impossibles- Love hears, speaks & implements the Word with the confidence & boldness of Christ-Love relies on the authentic love that flows from the One Who authenticated Love...Holy Holy Holy, Lord God Almighty, Maker of Heaven & Earth-make sure your love comes from the One Who... loved you first! Time passes...hurts don't

Many dismiss old hurts-reasoning time has passed and nothing can be done. It's true, time has passed...but the hurts haven't. An unresolved hurt is as alive as the day it happened, but it's not always recognized... because it has many layers of life on it. A person is chained to their past until the hurt is resolved. Their perspective is obscured-they see and hear life through their past pain. A person's hurt  perpetuates every generation until it is stopped. Don't throw away the life Jesus died to give you...release your hurt to Him. There's a way that seems right to a man, but in the end, leads to death. Only Jesus can heal you-you can't heal yourself...nor can you heal from what you won't bring in His light. Jesus came to save, bind up our wounds, free us from captivity, bring us out of darkness...to heal us! Until you let the love of Jesus flood you...you're left in darkness, a prisoner in your own life and a captive in your own hurt. Will you release your hurt to Jesus, so you can live the abundant life He offers you? (Isa 61:1, Ps 139:23-24, Pr 14:12, 2 Cor 3:17, Jn 10:10) 3/5/13CIFL-LMM

A hurting heart...

Until a hurt is healed it remains a wound inside of the heart. Addressing hurt is uncomfortable-it takes work. Many ignore hurts reasoning time has passed & there's nothing that can be done. It's true time has passed...but the hurt hasn't. Until a person addresses their hurt-they're chained to the past. An unresolved hurt is as alive as the day it happened, but because it has many layers of life on it, it's not always identified: this leads people to believe they got over it. Many don't want to acknowledge that someone they trusted hurt them...because really, it makes the hurt feel even worse-it's insult to injury. Until the all of the hurt is brought into the light...complete healing can't happen & complete release to move forward is impossible.

Christians tend to Christian-ese hurts by minimizing what a person did & deny the full impact of the pain. Minimizing keeps a person chained to the experience, unable to live in the present & certainly unable to have a hope for the future. Many of their thoughts & actions operate from the perspective of their past experience-keeping the view of the present obscured. Jesus came to save, bind up wounds & bring us out of  darkness...to heal us! To heal-we have to bring our hurts to Him; completely surrendering our entire heart, mind & soul. Releasing to Jesus who hurt you is the first step of recovery-then releasing what the person did to you. You can't heal from what you won't release! Many believe forgiving is dismissing the harm...but forgiving means you will no longer carry the harm in your heart. When you verbally give the release...forgiving the person who caused harm; you allow Jesus to physically remove the chains that kept you bound to them & the hurt they imposed. Next, give Jesus all the hurt you experienced surrounding the original hurt...empty yourself of it-purge every last drop. While you're doing this a flood of emotions will come to you-it's all those years of denying, holding back, trying to prove you were good enough & pushing down tears. This is grief-recognizing what was lost, stolen or never given. Grief validates what you experienced-it says you matter & what happened to you mattered. Then the love of Jesus will come in like a flood, crashing waves of His healing pouring into every chamber, crevice and opening...shining His light of love making sure nothing is overlooked-filling up every area in you, overflowing the sides & finally engulfing all of you.

Until His love floods us we're left in darkness-prisoners of our own pain-  Releasing hurts, surrendering them to Jesus, forgiving those that imposed the hurt then grieving is the only way to complete healing. People who refuse this process, will go through life with wounds in their heart-never experiencing the full promises of God. They impose the care of their wounds onto others; wanting them to make up for the hurt they encountered. Only Jesus can put back in us what was taken by another or give to us what another didn't give. Don't fall into to the trap of trying to give back to another what was taken from them or try to give them what they should've received; you can't, that's a job only Jesus can carry out.

We're not left without  hope...we're promised to overcome & be completely restored. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom-Jesus' love restores completely, healing every hurt ever experienced...will you receive His love into your heart today & be completely healed?  (Isa 61:1, Joel 2:25, 2 Cor 3:17) 10/2012CIFL-LMM #heartwounds #christianinsightforlife www.facebook.com

Raise your expectations...

Raise your expectations...what you see doesn't depend on your strength. Don't you know-have you not heard? We have an everlasting God-Creator of the ends of the earth, He doesn't grow tired or weary, no one can fathom His understanding, He gives strength to the weary, increases power to the weak, even young men stumble and fall...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint! Hope in our Father God's strength, not yours-raise your expectations because of what He will do...not what you can do. (Isa 40:28-31)

Transform yourself...

Conform is to comply with the socially acceptable conventions-pressure to behave to standards. Transform is to make a thorough or dramatic change in form, appearance and character. Don't conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Renewing your mind is...not merely replacing negative thoughts with positive thoughts...it's replacing the lies of conformity with the truth of God's Word. Check yourself...are you allowing God's truth to transform you? Does your talk and walk line up? If you profess the Word, but walk with the world-you're split in your beliefs...and you will surely be ripped apart! What do you really believe? What the world says...or what God says? Transform-receive the truth God's waiting to give you...God is waiting because He's madly in love with you. Blessings! (Rom 12:2, Eph 4:22, Heb 12:1) 6/20/12CIFL-LMM

Your cause...will shine like the noonday sun. Don't be discouraged-keep moving forward. No verdict given by man is final... only God's Word is final. Be obedient to the plan God put in your heart. Opposition, discouragement and doubt will come at you daily-wanting you to justify your cause. God put this plan in you, to use you...not prove you. Don't throw away your confidence, be patient-endure, so that you may perform God's will and receive, carry away, and enjoy to the full what's promised. And He will make the justice of your cause...shine like the noonday sun! (Heb 10:35-36, Ps 37:6) 12/20/12CIFL-LMM

Your job does not define you...

God put this on my heart several months ago..People seek to be defined by a job...but God seeks to define people for a job. "For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship)...[taking paths which He prepared ahead of time] that we should walk in them...(Eph2:10). He knows the thoughts & the plans... (Jer29:11). Many Christians miss their calling to be defined because they are "busy doing good things"
for God, but not being still with God to hear Him give direction. We are not called to respond to every request. If you are caught in this trap you will respond to a valid need...then resent the additional load or feel inadequate & wonder why you can't get everything done. Get with God, He wants you to know the paths He's prepared for you & He wants you to know the thoughts & plans He has for you. Talk this over with friends-bring it in His Light. Hey, we're all in this together...we miss it at times, but we can confidently expect our Father to reveal His plan & redirect us! 3/21/12CIFL-LMM

Victorious...since forever!

Victorious since...forever! God's our source-not the world. Many profess God's principles with their mouths while they follow the world's ways with their minds & hearts. God knows our future...not Vogue Magazine, 20/20 or the WSJ. We rely on the Trinity- God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit for victorious living. God's Word works, it's the incorruptible seed-it won't return void. God calls life to the dead & makes what does not exist...exist-we have a hope & a future in Him. The world is limited by time, theories & outcomes...waiting on & hoping for in what it can see & finite reasoning of the the unseen. God owns time- extending daylight to 24 hours if He pleases, He doesn't need a theory for reliability...He knows the beginning & the end of everything because He holds it all together in His hands. The world's triumphs come & go but we who are in Christ triumph always! God has it all worked out... why would be anxious-ever??? Honor & respect God's design of love, sex & marriage. The world says if it feels good do it, if it doesn't, don't. Love isn't a feel good, grope or personal preference-it's a commitment based on God's love. Where do you stand...you in or out-do you consider walking away when things get hard? Are you placing conditions on God-demanding He give you an answer or...or what? What do you plan to do apart from Him? Pick a team, you can't play both sides or you'll be ripped apart. If you leave God & look to the world to meet your needs, you will lose your mind- really you will. Seek God-you're completeness is found in Him & so is your victory. He's been victorious since...forever! (2 Cor 2:14, Rom 4:17, Isa 46:10, 55:11, Jn 15:5, Col 2:10, Eph 2:10) 5/12CIFL/LMM

Being turned inside out...

Being turned inside out...the middle part of believing-is in the middle of your familiar-known & your new season-unknown...This is where God will do His greatest work in you. My middle part of believing continues to challenge me & deepen my faith. I've experienced a barrage of doubt, my insecurities confronted, my beliefs challenged, & my pride purged. I've been uncomfortable, uncertain, & unsettled. My former familiar predictable schedule gone...my false confidence knocked out from under me, leaving me with a sense of awkwardness. The middle part of believing has been a long journey; I've become weary & I've considered giving up at times...then my Father always sends His encouragement through someone who loves & values me and who will be honest with me. I know this is how God must develop me-for me to know Him & to experience His love for me. I didn't know nearly what I thought I did...but this raw & vulnerable middle part of believing has led me to a deeper revelation of where I stand with God; He sustains me, comforts me, encourages me...every one of His promises is true. Emotions come & go but He never changes. I must stay connected to Him-He supplies me with everything I need, I trust Him because of Who He is...I do not have to know what He will do. He promises good plans for me & I believe Him...I know His voice...I'm never alone..ever, He's with me always...when I get into my new season, I will be ready not because I'm there... but because I know Him. The middle part of believing has been the most amazing journey of my life-I know my Father...He knows my name & He loves me. 8/10/12CIFL-LMM

Being still with Jesus is difficult for most of us...

Time with Jesus...are you compelled to get things done for Jesus before you spend time with Him? It's a subtle trap I call the Martha Mentality. I know it well because I overcome it daily. I love Jesus & I love doing for Jesus, but "doing" for Him is not the same as "being" with Him!

Jesus described Martha as overly occupied- busy & distracted with much serving. He described Mary as choosing the good portion that would not be taken from her. Marthas don't stop...until they drop! Marys are able to seek Jesus & relax with Him-knowing things will get done. Sitting down when there's obvious work to be done is almost unfathomable to a Martha! Do I have any Marthas who get what I'm saying?

All of us have hectic schedules; several things vie for first place on most days- impossibles knock on the door of our mind demanding answers. I use to ask Jesus to bless my hectic pace-only to end up frustrated the next day because I had found no relief. Then the Holy Spirit gave me revelation...I was suppose to release my hectic schedule to Him & He would instruct me on how to proceed...this  changed my life!

Jesus knows we're busy-He knows the impossibles we face. He faced impossibles daily-healing the sick, feeding 5,000 from one lunch, constant naysayers & false accusations & those He loved denied knowing Him during His greatest need. He gets what we're going through! And we're to do as He did to get through...seek & spend time with the Father first-resting in His love; receiving restoration, direction & revelation. Don't get caught in the Martha Mentality-each day has many priorities & the only way to prioritize them is to seek Christ first. Trust Him with all your heart, don't rely on your wisdom...He will guide & direct your hectic schedule. Will you seek Jesus first?(Lk 10:39-42, Mt 6:33, Pr 3:5-6, Ps 32:8) LMM #schedules #christianinsightforlife www.facebook.com/christianinsightforlife

Get ready...things are getting ready to change!

Get ready...things are getting ready to change. If God pulled up today in front of your home, knocked on your door and said, "I need your help"...what condition would He find you and your home in? Would you be ready to help Him? God's been telling me for a while to 'get ready'. It's easy to dismiss this if something does not happen right away, but I do believe God is telling us to 'get ready'. Do you have things in order...in your home, office, family, relationships...have you apologized to a loved one, are you harboring resentment from an old offense...are you embracing each day God gives you-making the most of your resources...are your closets organized, calls made, have you gone through that stack of papers on your desk...what's your yard look like...is your car clean, things from the garage given away? Maybe you're over involved in something that is a distraction to you that God has told you to walk away from; many things can be for a great cause but that does not mean...it's your cause. This message is to prompt you...not guilt you. God looks at each of our individual circumstances, He meets us where we are & He has individual expectations of each of us-so don't compare your individual situation to another, but don't excuse yourself either...be honest & check your heart with what you need to do to get ready. You may ask...what about my spouse who will not help me? Our Father has that covered...each of us are responsible for our individual actions (Gal6:4-5). Don't fall into the trap of excusing or eliminating yourself because another does not do their part...but do make sure you're in check & aren't holding onto bitterness & unforgiveness-that will disqualify you. God makes allowances-He knows what you can and can't do-but don't let that be an excuse to miss your call. God never expects perfection...but He does expect us to use the information & knowledge we have been given (Mark4:24). Seek Him-He will guide you and give instruction on where to begin. God wants new things for you-don't look at what you need to do through your strength...see it through God's eyes. Hebrews 13:21, God will strengthen (complete, perfect) & make you what you ought to be & equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight...Get things in order friend, it's time for a new position & a new season-God's calling you...but when He does, don't trip over the junk in your garage or not hear Him because of the mess & commotion in your home. God has good plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Blessings!

Christ will strengthen you...

I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me...not...all things I choose to do will Christ strengthen me. What I choose to execute in my strength-I'm also responsible to manage and maintain. I will choose Him Who strengthens me to be responsible to manage and maintain my life...He is before all things and holds all things together-He can certainly strengthen me and hold me together. Amen! (Phil 4:13, Cor 1:16-17)9/1/12CIFL-LMM

Never doubt your purpose...

Never doubt your purpose...you've got what it takes-God's put His Spirit in you to overcome any trial you face & to accomplish all He's called you to. He planned long ago to purpose His will through you- you're His masterpiece! Don't be anxious, be still & know He's God. Keep moving-the Holy Spirit will call you back to God's path if you miss a turn or go the wrong way...you're never alone. Expect trials, no one is exempt-character & stamina are developed in them; making you more than a conqueror. Never  doubt your  purpose...you've got what it takes!

Cling to the Word...it never changes!

Condemnation lurks constantly...waiting to sucker punch you-especially after a victory or when making great strides in moving forward from a self defeating behavior! Cling to the Word-it never changes...it's your focus for stability when things constantly change around you (1 Cor 16:9, Lam 3:22, James 1:17) CIFL-LMM 3/1/13

Get past your past...

Get past your past...you can, because Jesus did. He gave all of Himself for your past, your present and your future. (Col 2:13-14) 6/2012CIFL-LMM
Staying focused, maintaining your purpose and a fearless determination are requirements for the dreams God put in your heart to become realities. (Phil 3:14, Heb 10:35-36, Ps 27:14, Gal 6:9) 8/20/12CIFL-LMM

Don't delay what God wants to do through you...

We are quick to say what we believe...but slow in responding to take action in what we believe. We delay the miracles God wants to carry out through us because we factor in our human ability. God does not ask us to do the impossible...He asks if we believe that He can. (Luke 18:27) 10/24/12CIFL-LMM

Release your mistakes, poor choices, regrets, embarrassing situations...

Release your mistakes, poor choices, regrets, embarrassing situations...give them to Jesus once and for all. Jesus sees past your past...He sees your future- a new you! What you've done is not who you are... you're confusing behavior & identity. Behavior is your actions-your outside...who you are is identity- your inside. Jesus lives on the inside of you- He's your identity-His love validates you. You're loved, unique, a child of God; His masterpiece-to do good things He planned for you long ago. When you accepted Jesus, He came to live in your spirit; instantly you were saved and become a new person, but your behavior wasn't saved. As Jesus' love grows on the inside of you-you're transformed which changes the outside of you...your behavior. Daily as you spend intimate time with Jesus-studying the Word and seeking His guidance...your behavior becomes more Christ-like; the spiritual growth process. Condemnation will constantly try to disrupt your growth-reminding you what you're not. Acknowledge what you're-but focusing on what you're not won't help you become what Jesus says you are. Focusing on Jesus' love is a must-you can't move forward independent of Jesus' love. When you hold onto your past, you separate yourself from Jesus' love. This leads to self loathing, rebellion, or apathy and disrupts your growth process...exactly the trap condemnation wants you in. We've all been there...but we don't want to keep going back there. Don't entertain the lies of condemnation. Speak what Jesus says you are...His masterpiece-created to do good things He planned long ago! You can't operate without Jesus-He's your fuel. You wouldn't consider driving your car on empty, if you did, you'd run out of fuel and be stranded-you'd have no choice but to stop; no fuel leads to no movement. Neither can we run the risk of going into the day without Jesus, our fuel-Who supplies all our needs, exceedingly, abundantly more than we dare imagine. Believe and receive the truth-Jesus sees your future-a new you...will you? (Col 2:10-15, Eph 2:10, Phil 4:13, Eph 3:20) 3/1/13CIFL-LMM

You're privileged...don't turn your back

You're privileged...God gives you His time and His word because He loves you...don't turn your back on your privilege. Read, speak and memorize His comforting words, not because you should...but because you can. Spend time with Him daily; fill up with His love for you. Give thanks and praise Him (Ps106:1). God goes before you each day....He says you are His, He's redeemed and summoned you by name. That's right, He knows your name...deep waters and rivers will not sweep over you, you will not be burned when you walk through fires (Isa43:1-2). God is with you-He will never leave you (Heb13:5). Uncertain about about your career? Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed (Pr16:3). Are you being taken to court and falsely accused? The Lord won't let you be condemned when brought to trial (Ps37:33). Need to confront a difficult situation? Be strong and courageous-don't be discourage; God's with you wherever you go (Jos1:9). Feeling like you can't take one more day of a certain situation? "Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am you God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; Yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice (Isa41:10)." Wherever you are, you are never alone, because your Father is with you...don't turn your back on your privilege. Speak the words of your Father and be encouraged...He has a good plan for you (Jer29:11).  Peace be with you friend (John14:27). Embrace, speak and walk out God's Word-you're privileged...don't turn your back on your privilege! 7/2012CIFL-LMM

What if...you would be the you God designed you to be?

What if...you would be the you God designed you to be...would you act the way you do-feel better about you? Would your life look different-would you be in a different career? Would you carry out the desires God put in your heart without regard to what others might say? Would you speak up more for what you believe in...would you feel less pressure to prove your worth? Would you be relaxed in your personality-the one God made just for you...that matches perfectly with your talents and gifts? Would you more readily accept the differences in others, if you first could accept...  your differences? Would you hear Jesus whispering to you more often instead of fighting off grueling anxiety...would you laugh more, sleep better and grind your teeth less if...you enjoyed being you? We so easily toss aside our authentic make-up for fear of looking different or being perceived as opposing the majority. God made each one of us with His very own hands-giving each of us a fingerprint that no one in the world has. Each of us are unique to carry out a specific plan-we're purposed by God Himself...be the you He designed! (Ps 139:13-15, 1Jn 4:16-19, Cor 4:2) 8/12/12CIFL-LMM
God put gifts in you for His Kingdom purpose. Don't stifle them-they're commissioned by God Himself to be to delivered through you. He's designated you as the vessel to operate them...but you don't own them nor are you to minimize or withhold them. God's given you the honor, privilege and responsibility to  carry the gifts, but you must completely rely on His ability working through you to deliver them. You will feel accomplished and purposed when doing so- fulfilling the call He planned for you. If you choose to withhold your gifts, you knowingly reject God's plan for your life-forgoing the fulfillment and contentment available to you. Everything about you is designed to carry out these gifts...your personality, intellectual abilities, athleticism, temperament, interests, desires and perseverance-glorify your Father and shine the light He put in you! I hope this will challenge your thinking. Execute the gifts God deposited in you and fulfill your purpose-to be the you..God made you to be! (1 Peter 4:10-11, Mt 25:29, Mt 5:14-16, Jer 29:11) 8/29/12CIFL-LMM

Facing reality...the impossibles

Acknowledging the impossible you're up against is facing reality...so is believing God will handle it. Make a decision to face your situation with the reality that God will handle it! (2 Chron 20:18) 8/30/12CIFL-LMM

Jesus is calling...will you answer?

Jesus is calling...will you answer? He calls for every person to come after Him-He wants to be your Guide. Few follow for fear of leaving their familiar-sadly, forfeiting the future God planned for them. Following Jesus requires going against norms, conventional ways and popular vote. God likes to create shock value to confound those who think they are wise. He will ask you to carry out ridiculous, radical and impossible tasks so there's no doubt it's Him, but He likes to show He can do anything He pleases. He laughs as the naysayers stare with their mouths wide open. Following Jesus brings isolation, resistance and ridicule from many, but you must go through the fire to know He's your source...supplying you with the all you need to accomplish the mission. Be confident in His ability flowing through you-the work He began in you...He will continue continue to perfect in you up until the day of His return! You know in your mind what God's asked of you is impossible-that's why you have to completely rely on His ability. Opposition, doubt and discouragement will come at you daily, wanting you to justify your cause. Don't engage-it's a ploy to create confusion and distract you from hearing the Holy Spirit. Focus and listen-move forward even when you see no evidence. Your evidence is Who you believe in-the words spoken to your heart by your Father God...hold these words tightly-cling to them when you're discouraged and weary! God put this call in you to use you...not prove you-He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn and the justice of your cause like the noonday sun! Jesus is calling...will you answer? (Mt 4:19, Phil 1:6, 1 Cor 1:27, Lk 18:27, Eph 3:20, Ps 37:6) 1/17/13CIFL-LMM
