Getting saved gets you a new spirit...but not a new mind! You've got to
renew your mind with God's Word, "The words I speak to you are spirit & they are life." Renewing your mind involves reading the Word,
meditating on it & spending time with Jesus daily. Time with Jesus is
your life source-to not have time to renew your mind is like saying you
don't have time to breathe. Your mind must be renewed with Jesus...the
way, truth & life. Apart from Him your mind withers resulting in
exhaustion & depletion because of its finite ability.
God's Word gives
your mind the ability to exceed its own finite abilities...the insight
to discern what otherwise would confound you-to believe & firmly stand
on the promises of God even when all looks lost. Renewing your mind
gives you a holy revelation of knowledge given by the Holy Spirit
Himself. Renew your mind daily...don't reject the way, truth & life offered to you! (Ezek 36:26-27, Eph 4:23, Rom 12:2, John 6:63)
