Loving vs Enabling

One of the most powerful ways we can help those we love is to model our trust in Jesus...when the truth we profess with our mouth becomes the trust we experience in our heart...we have made a difference to those watching.
When the truth transforms to trust...when someone we love is hurting-we hurt too & want to help them overcome their situation. Often, our sincere motive to help actually hinders them-we confuse loving them with rescuing them. Loving them is being available emotionally & physically, reminding them of God's truth, & giving them the freedom to seek Christ & trust Him to provide a way. Rescuing them p
uts you...between them & God, making you their problem solver-cheating them out of a personal experience to seek Christ with confidence when they're faced with adversity. You must remove yourself as the go-to person so your loved one will seek Christ first...instead of you. If you continue to rescue, you are interfering with Holy Business. Release those you love to God; trust Him to provide what they need-remember...He loved them first. One of the most powerful ways we can help those we love, is to model our trust in Jesus, believing He will make a way-even when we do not see a way. Standing firm on what we know...verses how we feel-believing He will provide all our needs. A person can be told the truth that God will provide a way..but the truth transforms to trust...when they do not see a way and then God makes a way. You will never know if God will handle your situation until you give Him a chance to handle it...will you let Him? Blessings friend.
