Boundaries in relationships...

Relationship Boundaries...healthy relationships keep balance. Coming together doesn't mean you leave who you are behind to join the new relationship, forget the former people who loved you before you fell in love or trade out your interests in lieu of being with this new person. These are red flags that will lead to disaster later on. Value yourself as God values you & keep your relationships before the Lord-ask the Holy Spirit to guide you...He will lead you in all truth!

A godly relationship keeps God first-this secures balance, growth & good future! God has to remain first-He can't be second; He can't bless what you put before Him. Putting a person before God places unrealistic expectations on them & places you in a position to be disillusioned. God designed us to love one another but only put our hope in Him! When you seek from a person what only God can give…you're promised disaster! A godly relationship will always encourage your walk with Christ & honor the authentic person He calls you to be! When you're developing into the authentic person God designed you to be your loved ones will be blessed!

God designed you with a purpose; keep your relationships before the Lord so that you're in His will & plans for your life-any relationship that pulls you away from God is not for you. Guard your relationship with God-not doing so jeopardizes your future! Seek wise counsel- talk with mature godly friends who aren't afraid to speak God's truth- then take it to heart. Finally, seek a spirit filled Christian counselor who can encourage & challenge you to be the person God's called you to be-they will explain patterns & behaviors & help you connect the dots. Agree with God's plan for your life-His ways work & when you follow Him…your life works! Will you value yourself as God values you?
