If you really knew how much God loved you...you'd think & act
differently, see yourself as God sees you & know He will never leave you...never. You'd stand on the His truth...you're fearfully &
wonderfully made, complete in Christ & God's masterpiece. You'd encourage yourself instead of put yourself down when you messed up, you'd know messing up doesn't make you a mess up & you'd forgive yourself as Christ has forgiven you. For
sure you wouldn't open the door to self-defeat when he knocks! Self-defeat wants to
bind you in fear, have you anticipate let downs, be afraid of being passed over,
rejected & unfulfilled. Self- defeat is a liar...all the time! You believe being afraid is normal, it isn't. It's normal to feel afraid, but then you're to renew your mind with God's truth...there is no fear in God's love-it expels every trace of terror! Self-defeat reminds you of all you are not & then you feel like a failure. Jesus
didn't open the door to the enemy when he tried to engage with Him-you're to do the same. When self-defeat knocks on your door & wants to engage...don't open the door! You have a door between you & the world & you decide what you let in...don't let a liar in your mind. Jesus says His power is perfected in your weaknesses...you're not suppose to have it all together-if you did, you would not need Jesus. Speak
aloud throughout the day what God's truth says about you. You will begin to
think & act differently-the more you speak the truth, the more of a revelation of God's love you will hear & have in your spirit. When you really begin to receive God's love, you will walk in His confidence & for sure.... you won't answer the door when self-defeat knocks!!! Shining God's truth across the world (Mt 5:16). When we lay down who we think we should be...we make room to become who God says we can be-His masterpiece to do the good works He planned long ago (Eph 2:10).
