You are a daughter of a King-you are loved by a King. He first loved us (1 John 4:19). Embrace this day-don't allow your status to determine your value. Single, dating, engaged, married, divorced, divorced again-these are statuses not value indicators. A status does not define you-you define it. But if you want to be "co mfortable" in any status, you must love God-who first loved you. Women, we must know our Father intimately-until we know His Love, we do not know love. We'll look for love in all the wrong places that seem right, like our families or others approval. We have to know the authentic love of our Father, so we can be enhanced by those we love & not look for our value in those relationships-it does not work for us & is unfair to them. God's the supplier-He's the only authentic source of love! We need His love supplied to us in every relationship we have & throughout every stage in life. If we're seeking our love supply from any other source, it is counterfeit. If we try to give love without being connected to our Father first, it is counterfeit.
