Don't bail out...because you can't figure it out!

Don't bail out...because you can't figure it out. What are your expectations? What you expect is what you will find. An expectation is a strong belief that an event will happen or be the case in the future. Every day you anticipate events-you expect things to happen based on what you believe. Many believe life's circumstances dictate what they can expect-this is a lie. As a Christian, your expectations are in Christ- being sure of what you hope for & certain of what you don't see (Heb 11:1). Fear screams, "what you see is what you can expect!" Listen closely, no matter what you see-a broken relationship, financial ruin, betrayal of a loved one, death, war, grief, diseased body, depraved mind...you can expect that God's mighty to save you & He will comfort you with His love (Zeph 3:17). Christ is before the seen & unseen-He holds it all together (Col 1:17). Life's circumstances don't determine your destiny or what you can expect. Your destiny has been determined by God & Jesus has already made a way for you. Your part is to face the difficult circumstances-then Jesus will walk you through. If you don't face it-He can't walk you through it. Make a decision, put your confident expectation in Him-walk by faith, not sight (2 Cor 5:7). Expectations are determined on the inside of you where Jesus lives, not in life's circumstances. Life is cruel & unfair at times, but you can have a confident expectation despite the trials you experience-expect change. Don't get caught up in how the change will occur-you can't figure it out. Stand on the promise that Jesus has overcome this world-He's deprived it of the power to harm you (Jn 16:33). Humanly speaking what you see is impossible, but not for God-all things are possible for Him (Mt 19:26)! Your expectations aren't in what you can do or see; your expectations are in God-He's got good plans for you (Jer 29:11). Don't bail out because you can't figure it out...you will forgo your future. Keep believing in God; your confident expectation is in Him...every time! (Mk 11:22)! 7/31/13CIFL-LMM #overcomer #christianinsightforlife www.facebook.com/christianinsightforlife
