Overcoming
Adversity on your journey. The best defense is a good offense &
you've got what it takes to execute & carry one out...God uniquely
designed everything about you to fulfill His plans through you-Jesus has
gone before you & made a way & the Holy Spirit lives in &
empowers you to walk out what God asks of you. God's Word works...it
will transform your life if you consistently apply it to your
life! There's nothing in this world that can stop you from moving
forward in the life God planned for you other than...you! I pray you
will be strong & courageous in the Lord & fulfill the call He
specifically designed for you to carry out.
Here are 4 practical steps I've developed that are based in scripture & will enable you to walk in the victory of God's promises!
1) Expect attacks...don't be shocked-they don't stop until you go to Heaven. The enemy's job is to discourage & debilitate you so you will abort your journey. (Jn 10:10, Eph 6:-0-18, 1 Pet 5:7-9, 1 Cor 10:13)
2) Acknowledge your feelings then hand them to Jesus. What you give to Jesus-He handles...what you keep-you handle. (Rom 12:1-2, Ps 34:5-6, 37:5-6, 68:19, 2 Cor 12:9-10, Jn 15:3-5)
3) God will never give up on you...don't ever give up on Him-He will bring to completion the good work He started in you long ago! (Phil 1:6, 2:13, Mk 11:22, Eph 2:10, 3:-9-20)
4) Stay focused-the enemy knows what distracts you. Don't take the bait...you're commissioned by God to fulfill your call. Keep your eyes & heart on Him & keep moving! (Gal 6:9, Heb 10:35-36, 12:1-2, 2 Cor 10:3-5) LMM #overcomer #victory #focus #adversity #christianinsightforlife
