What if...you would be the you God designed you to be?

What if...you would be the you God designed you to be-would you feel better about being you? Would your life look different-would you go after the dream in your heart, be in a different career or respond to the call God spoke to your heart long ago without regard to what others might say? Would you speak up more for what you believe in, boldly confess your faith & feel less of a need to prove your worth? Would you more readily accept the differences in others, if you were able to first accept the differences in you? Would you hear Jesus whisper He loves & delights in you instead of contending with the voice of condemnation & anger in your head? Would you laugh more, sleep better & grind your teeth less if...you enjoyed being you?

God uniquely designed every person with a specific purpose to do the good works He planned long ago. Yet many trade in God's plans for the acceptance & approval of others. This trade inevitably leads to disappointment because people aren't powerful enough to manage the destiny of other people...only God can! Still many seek the approval & acceptance of others over God's plans for their lives & when they do they become sad, mad & miserable Christians!

Being the authentic person God designed you to be leads to a life of thriving, but trying to be who others think you should be defaults to just surviving!
