The Jordan River had to be crossed to get to the Promised Land. It had been 40 years...God gave specific instructions for the crossing. Has God given you specific instructions to cross your Jordan? He's been preparing you. You look at the Jordan and it's just not a good time...the water level is at its highest, the current is dangerous, and now you're doubting if you heard God correctly. You know for certain all the preparations have led to now; it's harvest season...the time to reap what you've sown. You look across the Jordan and see where God wants you to be...it's the Promise Land-He said it's yours, but you must posses it. All your fears are accurate; you can't do this-it will take a miracle. Friend, it's not about your ability...it's about your availability. God's got the ability-He will supply all your needs, but He needs your availability.  God does not amuse Himself and wring us out to see how tough we are; He wrings the "I" out of us to make room for Him...to bring His plans to fruition through us. The only way you're are going to cross your Jordan is through His strength. Stop wasting time...on if you can or can't...you can't, but God will...if you will let Him. But you won't know He will...until you step in the Jordan. He's gone before you. When you step in, the waters will roll back and the ground will be dry; God told the Israelites to keep a distance between them and the ark of the covenant so they could see the way to go because He knew...they had not not passed this way before (Joshua 3:4). I just love this part of the scripture...God's tenderness is so evident; He knows the things He asks us to do are impossible, but if we will trust Him; He will go before us and make a way. No one can convince you to trust God-it has to be your personal relationship with Him. I pray you will cross your Jordan and fulfill the dreams He has for you. Your life will be so full and complete; actually ridiculously content, if you will trust God to lead you. Blessings friend!
