Don't deny reality...but don't deny God's truth either! God's truth trumps the reality you're going through...unemployment, illness, delayed dreams, failed relationships, grief, insufficient funds, anger, foreclosures, special needs child, addictions, past mistakes, family secrets, guilt, overdrawn bank accounts, broken hearts, rebellious children, false accusations, rejection from a friend, etc.
God's truth says...He will will never leave you, to not be afraid, He holds together all you see & don't see, He has good plans, He's for you & not against you, you're more than a conqueror & He will supply all your needs. Your part is to trust Him & He will even help you do that! You don't have to figure things out-God's already done that. Your part is to believe He has-have faith constantly. Jesus tells us to remain in Him & His Words will remain in us, to ask whatever we wish & it will be done. When God's Word is in us-we desire what He wants for us!
Hold tight to God's truth-don't allow doubt to rob you of His promises. Be still & know He is God-Jesus has made a way & the Holy Spirit will guide you. Keep the Word on your lips, in front of your eyes, speak & listen to it-your hope is in God! The reality you're facing doesn't determine your destiny-God does.
