You can't change or save yourself-if you could...you wouldn't need a Savior!

If you believe your value in life depends on what you can or can't accomplish then you will feel accepted when you succeed & rejected when you fail. This belief leads to misery & places you in a perpetual agitated state because you're not defined by what you do or don't do...you're defined by "Who" lives in you & "what" He did for you!

You can't save or change yourself...if you could you wouldn't need a Savior! "Are you so foolish, senseless & silly? Having begun [your new life spiritually] with the Holy Spirit...are you now reaching perfection by depending on your ability? Then does He Who supplies you with His marvelous Holy Spirit & works powerfully & miraculously among you do so on...the grounds of "your doing" or is your believing in, adhering to, trusting in & relying on the message that you heard by faith?"

God promises victory to every Christian-no person is exempt & there's no unique situation that His love can't overcome. God only ask one thing of you & that is to believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. There's nothing we can do to earn or pay back what Jesus did for us other than to humbly receive it with unqualified assurance...this removes us from the equation of salvation & completely gives full credit to Jesus Christ our Savior & Lord! We can't earn the love Christ freely gives, nor can we achieve or take credit for His death on the cross or the power that rose Him from the dead; He freely gave us all that is His the day we gave our life to Him!

When we embrace true humility, take the focus off of us & put it on Christ then we can move forward in His confidence. His Spirit living in us is our identity; we don't achieve an identity in Christ...it is given to us! Will you stop focusing on what you can or can't do & freely accept all of God's love so that you can walk in the freedom He promises you?
