Letting go of what was...

Grief...letting go of what was. Many don't completely let go of the past because it was familiar-they felt confident & knew the routine. But the past is gone-it's behind us; we can't reach behind us...we can only reach forward to what lies in front of us. Life is a perpetual motion forward-it continues on whether we choose to move with it or not. Don't let life pass you by because you're looking back or trying to resuscitate what God has said is over.

The season is over; it's time to pack it up & say goodbye, but you don't have to pack up all the memories-keep the healthy memories & let go of the ones that hold you back. Both have molded you, but only God's love validates you...so grieve the season not the good memories-they are added to the new season ahead!

"For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland." Don't underestimate the good plans God's promised because you can't imagine how He will carry them out...just keep putting your hope in Him alone & you will see if you don't give up! Will you let go of the past so God can show you the future?
