Facing adversity...
What
you profess to believe about God & you is revealed when you face
adversity in life. Adversity knocks down props, messes up routines &
removes facades presented to others...making a way for the authentic
person God designed you to be & for you to be comfortable with
you!!!
Embrace adversity; it grows your faith, develops your character & sets you free…you don't have to make a way for yourself-God's
already done that. But you do have to agree with His truth & be
willing to take risks-especially leaving your comfort zones & be
ready for opposition from others. When you accept the revelation that
God's planned every second of your life, you will begin to let go of
anxiety about being overlooked, not being good enough or not having what
it takes.
Each time you face adversity, you have an
opportunity to lay down who you think you are & become more of who
God says you are-His masterpiece...created to do the good works He
planned long ago. Are you ready to ditch your plans for His? (James
