Do you completely trust God to bring you through hard seasons? If you mostly trust Him, you're not completely trusting Him & this leads to anxiety. Anxiety develops in the mind when an outcome is uncertain-this is God's design. It's our internal alarm to signal danger-the alarm goes off when we feel unsafe. If our alarm is working correctly we run to God when we're afraid with confidence He will provide. We cause a malfunction when the alarm goes off & we try to take on the burden independent of Him or partially trust Him. To correct the error, we renew our mind with His truth... that He's with us, will provide what we need & bring us through it.
Your outcome is certain as a follower of Jesus. God says to not be afraid or dismayed-He will uphold & strengthen you. Believing God doesn't require you to know how He will deliver, but it does require you to believe He will...otherwise you forfeit the comfort His promises give. If you struggle believing, ask the Holy Spirit to help you-He's your Helper & Comforter & will give you revelation! Only by faith can you believe God's promises & only the Holy Spirit can give you the faith to believe.
Which brings this truth full circle...we're not exempt from hardships, but we are promised that God will bring us through each one. Will you believe God to bring you through?
