A repentant heart...is never doubted

A repentant heart that's walked out...is never doubted. Many quickly apologize for their offense...but no behavior change follows. Genuine repentance is manifested in behavior changes. In counseling others, this is at the top of the list of problems in relationships. People will say, "they apologized, but they keep doing the same thing over and over. How will I know when they're really sorry?" I explain, a repentant heart is followed by behavior changes. Luke 3:8, "Produce fruit in keeping with repentance."
